Hey! Thank you so much for your comment. Glad to hear you enjoy my tutorials. Unfortunately this organizer is discontinued. I got it at IKEA and would have loved to get a third one recently but they no longer sell it. At least not in Germany.

Danke Julia für deinen Kommentar :) freut mich, dass es dir gefällt. Der cardstock ist 250g. Ich verwende aber auch häufig 220g Cardstock von Faltkarten :) die Graupappe ist 1,5mm dick. Ich hoffe das hilft. Viel Spaß beim Basteln ! 😊

Great series of videos. Love the album and will be making it soon. This video's album has 6 or 7 pages. What are the measurements for the cover and spine?

Thank you so much Andrea :) glad you like it. There are also videos uploaded on how to make the album cover and the hinge and the basic pages. I like to add additional pages to each basic page. I explain that in my basic pages video :) the cover measures 9x9,5 with an 3 inch spine. I also sell cutting guides for everything on Etsy. @@MyFavoriteDayCrafts Thanks for pointing me to the album cover and cutting guides video. I was just wondering if the spine has to be bigger if you have more basic pages. Is a 3 inch spine big enough for 7 hinges?

@@andreacohen3761 Ah sorry, I misunderstood. I actually never do more than 5 hinges. I always do either 4 or 5 hinges and with both option I stick to a 3 inch spine. I still have more pages because of the additional page flaps which don’t require another hinge but are added to a basic page 😊

I was under the impression that your tutorial was for the U.S too. I can’t buy the set of tools you used. Based on this tutorial it also doesn’t show the measurements of the pages nor how you put them together to create your albums. Do you have this type of tutorial?

Hey Lisa, Sorry no the tool set is from an European shop but I am sure you will get something similar in the U.S Aswell. I think I saw someone getting it on Etsy ? But if you don’t have it you can still make the cover by drawing an even border of (0.75”) around the chipboard construction and use some 0.25” tape in between as a place holder. I don’t have a part on the pages and how I put everything together yet but I will upload a video on the hinge and attaching the pages soon. There also will be parts on each page style.
