Fevicol heatx (glue) has been used to stick gold strip...Nails are supporting the strip till the glue dried

How long will these golden strips last on plywood, i heard that it will start chipping after a year or 2 , please suggest , i am also planning to use the same in my house.Also if its gets chipped in few years then can golden acrylic sheet will be a better option lookwise?

Wall looks great! Why did you use nails to hold down the strips to take them out later, when strips are glued down ?? Also, should have painted the wall dark color first in the area where strips were installed so you don’t see the wood through the gaps.

Glue takes time to get sticked so we have to use nails to support it until it gets dried and those gaps aren’t visible from even 1mts so that’s why we haven’t used any paint

We have used 12mm waterproof ply in this project and aluminium has been used in frame work inside the pannel to protect it from termite

I think,They wanted to show a mini grove along both the sides of the gold strip, which is looking surprisingly Great 👍

Why not take one big panel of laminate and then stick the steel strips directly to the laminate sheet? Wouldn’t it be much easier to install? Just wondering if I missed any technicalities there.. 🤔

@@expressionsphotobooth3807 you can make it flush but to do that you'll need a wood router. That'll carve out a channel to fit the things like led strips or metal strips.

You can do that but wooden feel is different... you can use sunmica on wall rather than using wallpaper

Which glue u had used to secure steel strips and also due to fastnening with nails ,the metal strip develops nail marks on it which kind of looks really bad.. Thank u
