If any spectator on my team gets a sideline warning, I will ask them to leave. 2 of my coaches got into a near fight last season after a game. I fired them both and banned one from all games and practices for the rest of the year because he put his hands on the other coach. Now, what did the kids learn on this day? Team work, sportsmanship, winning with class or losing with grace? No, they learned pressure. The pressure of I better do great or daddy/uncle/older brother might go off. It's no wonder a lot of kids would rather stay home and play video games.

@doityourdarnedself

@@TB-ni4ur True that I've never had parents as bad as that. Still wouldn't tolerate it. I kicked 3 parents out of our games last season for poor behavior. After the last one, told the parents that this will stop if they want the team to continue with me being part of it. Want to scream racial slurs? Fine. Do it without me on the sideline. I don't hold people to a lesser standard because of where they come from or the color of their skin. Get on or get out.

@doityourdamnself6480 😂 as wrong as unruly parents can be, I'd never let a volunteer coach kick me out after paying my $300. I'd tell you to kick rocks and ill coach the team.
@doityourdarnedself

@@Bruss813 I suppose you could do that in many leagues/clubs/teams. Not in mine. Bylaws are very clear that membership to our non-profit corporation for cause. However, if I was in a situation without those bylaws and a parent told me to "kick rocks and I'll coach the team", I'd happily do just that. In my 24 seasons of coaching I have never had a parent willing to take over a team.

You obviously haven't been to many youth sports games. Just about all of them require, but don't have, uniformed security. This kind of jungle mentality is just about everywhere in junior football because there is no adequate security as there is in high school and beyond.

I used to volunteer and coach youth soccer. I quit fairly quickly because of the parents. They were just horrible to deal with. The highlights of coaching were the kids themselves.

This is unacceptable period parent’s need to be held accountable for their actions and it had nothing to do with how many coaches on the sidelines that team was just better then them that day all in all it was a good game hats off to the kids for playing there butts off.

Comment had nothing to do with which team was better or worse but I guess comprehension isn’t your strong suit and what was written just flew right over your head. We all know it’s unacceptable but the environment the COACHES allowed on their sidelines is the direct result of the outcome. If I’m not mistaken it was a coach and parent fighting. So uplifting such sterling examples
When parents act a fool and coaches, it delays the game and takes all the wind out of the players sail. This is what happens when you have a thousand people on the sidelines. Remember this, how the coaches act, will be a reflection of how the players act
Yooo that grey team is laying some BEAUTIFUL blocks. I love to see it fr fr
Embarrassing is an understatement for this.. we gotta set better examples for the kids
I’m not gonna say it myself but Chris Rock said it best ,in one of his stand ups ! If you catch my drift 🤣🤣🤣

It never fails, number one reason children have no discipline, respect or dignity is because of their selfish parents, trying to live their failed opportunities in life through their children, sad.
Great win MD. Elite , slim was tripping by the looks at that eye he was hurt by more than the L lol
Crazy crazy crazy and you see why many real coaches don’t coach.
This is why its so hard to find officials because of situations like this. Then when those same kids play in high school the parents are not there to support.
I coach 10u and it’s like this everywhere. Not my program & they teach against the kids getting in to trouble but every coach goes out there and almost fights. It’s crazy man
The guy with the I Love Black Women shirt is my hero😂. I want that shirt! Doo got cold cocked though...😢😂😂😂

All my kids sports I sat on the other side of the field from the parents. From little league to college.
It is always the parents who overreact and come unhinged. I’ve heard stuff you would not even hear at an NFL game during youth football. Remember it is a kids game. Coaches are volunteers and refs are human. The final rule is it is a kids game!

OUR CHILDREN COME FIRST! I have a 10-year-old son and I love watching him play American football. No one in the family, not even his grandparents, played this sport. When I see him play, it fills my soul. Yes, I met this sport by chance, I played Soccer, but as an American, as a father of an only son, seeing him play changed my life. OUR CHILDREN COME FIRST!

Why would I let my child ever play in this league? Adults fighting over a game played by children is beyond insane. These kinds of incidents suck all of the fun out of it for the children. Now, what did the kids learn on this day? Team work, sportsmanship, winning with class or losing with grace? No, they learned pressure. The pressure of I better do great or daddy/uncle/older brother might go off. It's no wonder a lot of kids would rather stay home and play video games.

WOW.
These kids see this and think this is the way to handle a disagreement. Don’t get me wrong, some people need to be put in their place but not in front of your children.
The TD celebration for the green team was a full production. Just give the ball back to the ref. You're not in the NFL.
