I have 12 leaf babies growing outside under cover and they are all from the same plant and all in just coir but the new babies are all different colours. Only about 4mm each new leaflet so about 5-6mm across each new baby but why might this be? Love your informative videos and love how you swap between English and your native tongue so seemingly effortlessly. Excellent. Many thanks.

You're lucky if you'll have different colors growing. Their could be mutations sometimes as they grow. Surprisingly, some even grow variegations on their leaves out of nowhere. Im glad you still appreciate the video even if it was a mix of Language ( That's how we speak in my country, The Philippines)

@@moiraberniegatt9491 well yes, we speak that way here 😆😆😆 Actually yes, sometimes they have already reached their maturity then all of a sudden, they change their shape or color (applies to any Succulent). And if that happens, I would love to propagate that single leaf immediately 😁

Help! I'm trying to grow them in Malaysia, and it always ends up the same. I tried moving it further from growlights and less time under it when it got burn marks but the leaves just reabsorb super fast or fall off. Is 30-31c simply too much for it? (Also to add, I just got it 2 months ago and it's still getting established I think. I also haven't watered it more than once in the two months I've had it, so it's definitely not overwatered)

  • @desertsucculent311

Probably yours isn't receiving water, especially when they're on growlights where the temperature and light is continuous for hours...if your succulent has roots already, then you can water them as needed, when the soil has already dried ..
