Question.. what have you noticed about the decades of hair from 2010 to today? I know that trends evolve, but why does it seem like hair stylists aren't as ambitious, creative and willing to set trends/take risks anymore with hair styles?

Back in the day I had the Kelly Bundy hair and wore just about same outfits ! When I met my husband he introduced me to his sister ,four of them! They called me Kelly Bundy ..I guess they thought because they were nerds ,they were insulting me! No ..I owned that nickname and ran with it! They looked like Marcy Darcy! Lol

Yeah...I had them. My fave hairdo of all time. Lol. Best music to grow thru your 20s, too. 80s!!!

There were so many beautiful hairstyles in the 70's/80's and I really wish they would come back as many of the girls looked so lovely. I'm a guy remembering the girls I went with from that era, which notably were very similar to the styles at 1:41 and 5:22.

Yes and those hairstyles covered a multitude of sins , flat head , wide forehead , narrow forehead .

The hair looked so healthy and full .I know we used A lot of products & perms BUT compared to todays stuff it’s not the same at all .I would kill for Farrah Fawcett shampoo and lA looks hair gel ☺️

In my opinion as a man, it would be a blessing for these styles and more diverse styles to return...honestly, it makes a woman more desirable, sexy and attractive when they care for themselves in this manner..nowadays most of them are boring to look at it..not an understatement-just the plain truth.

No blue, green, or purple hair. The punks did have colored hair back then but it still looked ok compared todays. Meet my wife in 86 and she had big strawberry blonde hair, man so dam hot n good looking. I was in the Army so i just had the ole high n tight. Them old questionnaires that asked the 1st thing you noticed about the opposite sex, for me it was the hair.

I was in kindergarten in 1986, and because my grandma had her own salon, I already had a perm , when class picture day came my teenage babysitter s , put my outfit together, then my grandma did my hair, and now there's a photo of my kindergarten class where everyone looks nice and put together, and I'm posing dressed just like Madonna, I don't know how they got away with it. I was really impressed with myself, and in a couple weeks I'm going to my friends 80's birthday party, unfortunately my grandmother is no longer with us so she can't do Mt hair but my babysitter will because she is now a cosmetologist. I really wish I could have been a decade older, now kids are wearing what I did in high-school and calling it "vintage "

My hair looked like this in the late 90s( long and curly) it was sadly out of fashion by then I had no idea how to deal with my Hermione hair. I was just born in the wrong decade.

I’ve always worn whatever I liked whether it was in style or not , except for clothes and only because it gets the the point you can no longer buy them .

@@nowandthennn well I never liked my Hermione hair lol. What I meant was when I was young stick straight hair was in fashion but if I'd known how to Rick my waves like I do now( products and methods) I'd surely have done that rather than had an undefined frizzball on my head

I have seen ladies in their 80's in Beverly Hills still wearing these hair styles decades later, like skelitors with wigs. 🤣🤣🤣

I think the 80s was a decade where people wanted to.see who had the biggest snd most crimped hair. Some of these hairstyles are just ugh. I'm so glad my mom didn't ruin my hair like that as a child in elementary school in the mid and late 80s

Why does it say vintage and not retro?? Is that an American thing

Sadly in 2023, style and fashion have all disapeared. :( Everything is sooo blahhh now a days

I know , It seems like everyone wants their hair limp and want it hanging close to their heads or where they want it sticking out all over like they just woke up .
