the difference between a drag racer & someone that don’t know how to push their own car.. but looked like the Iroc had a fairly nice setup going an was comfortable behind the wheel.. probably woulda drag’d hisass anyway!

My older brother had an 88 IROC convertible with a stock 5.7. It was basically a Corvette. Before Instagram and all that BS, he had a decal on his windshield "Foxbody Killer" and boy did he kill some Mustangs. At the same time I had S10s with 350s and 454s that I build. These were drag trucks. I also had the decal.

That shit hooked up perfectly!

Listen to the video. Boss 302 driver couldn't even shift. Sounds like he went 1-2, tried to go into 3rd, and got locked out. This happens when you try to shift too late and it locks you out. An IROC is light and aerodynamic, and with a built motor, can probably mop the floor with most newer cars that aren't supercharged. Bone stock, they're slower than shit.

IROC Rocks!, and I am a Ford guy. Gotta give credit when due

Mustang needs a driver mod, Camaro is making some good power though.

A stock Iroc was only 230hp in that year??? Not stock at all in this race!!!

I miss my IROC. I had an 86 with a 400 small block. It looked like hell. Rust and bondo. But it ran like a raped date!

Thats not a bone stock IROC i now my first car was a 86 iroc and believe me it was beautiful car but a stock gt mustang would blow the doors of it and for get about a buck regal grand national no chance but the iroc would get the ladies just because it look so mich better than the mustang

An 86 IROC was a dog , so this isn't really an 86 IROC esxcept in looks . Also no time and no zoom so what is the point .

The RPO Code B4Z verifies it as a 1986 IROC Z28 and all the original equipment was IROC parts.

Damn what's up with that stang does it have a LS in it or something that's the 1st one I've seen lose in along time. Sorry I just couldn't help it you can definitely tell that that Mustang does not have a real Boss 302 or the driver has no clue how to drive it. I've driven a true Boss 302 and it would have easily waxed that Camaro.

A Boss 302 would be on the return lane before that IROC tripped the lights. A true modern Boss 302 with 400+ HP versus 190 HP IROC? The Stang could check his facebbook account and still win.

This particulare IROC has a 600hp small block Chevy in it, the Boss 302's 400plus horse power fell way short.

It's stupid calling it an Iroc . It's a Camaro with a strong engine , nothing to do with stock vs a Boss that's acting up . Stock to stock , not even close .
