My daughter, 24, also has non verbal autism and epilepsy. There are hard times, but the beautiful times far outweigh everything else. It takes a lot of love and dedication to raise any child, much less a child who has autism. It's definitely not for everyone. My daughter taught me what's important in this life and what is not worth giving a second thought to. My heart breaks for this young man. This hits too close to my home!! Praying for everyone. Stay safe out there. Much love and many blessings to all! ❤ ABSOLUTELY NOTHING OR NO ONE COMES BEFORE MY DAUGHTER, NEVER HAS AND NEVER WILL!!

This happened in Hendersonville, TN not KY. I live in the area and can tell you that the community has been involved as much as LE has allowed. The community, in general, is extremely suspicious of the mom and step-dad. The mom has said Sebastian left the house between midnight and 6 am on that Monday morning. The doors of the home were still locked, according to the mom. She and the step dad have said many strange and inconsistent things in the interviews they have done.

Omg... he wasnt allowed near his biological child you say. People with pre existing orders like if they involve extreme anger, threat of violence, past S.A charges, etc should HAVE to abide by NEW LAWS . They should have to stay away from ALL minors in that they should not be allowed to be a parental figure or in a care giver role. No living on the same property & so on. This urgent law should be bought in nation wide & if you break the law an automatic set jail term.

They called each other supposedly and 3 wayed 911. I didn't know you could 3 way 911 and why call him first? My Son is very high functioning and in normal classes with an IEP , he went from watching cartoons at 3 while I was making my bed , I immediately called 911 and ran all over looking for him while on the phone. As soon as I told him I had an officer looking with me , he came out. He's 14 nows and hides when he's overwhelmed but I was frantic that day as soon as he popped out the officer said he didn't know if I wanted to hug him or spank him. I just grabbed my baby and hit my knees crying with him in my arms. Something doesn't add up.

I don't think so. I think this has to do with the mom and step-dad because the step-dad doesn't like Sebastian. He didn't like that he was autistic and he felt like he was ruining the relationship with Sebastian's mom. But the step-dad is a 5 times loser at marriage. So he is abusive to females and kids.@user-kl1qn8yz5q

I just tried to watch an interview w/ the mother & stepfather, & the mother rocking back & forth (self-soothing gesture) non-stop reminds me of many other "trying too hard too look innocent & distraught" people I've seen before (Alex Murdaugh et. al) who later are found to be 100% guilty of something. I couldn't keep watching the video w/ the obvious melodrama and childish victim aspect of her affect. She may be truly suffering due to what happened, but it's childish to rock back & forth like that as an adult when you need to focus on finding your lost child. It gives off a "he's not ever coming back and I know it" sadness vibe rather than the "we need to find him alive" vibe. The stepfather sounds like Chris Watts. Same type of talk. "He's gonna walk through that door..." "we just want him home" etc. Also, stepfather does lots of narrative storytelling rather than first person direct storytelling about the alleged day of the disappearance. I don't have a good feeling about their demeanor and focus of the info they are providing at all.

This is a world gone mad. There is no way on God’s green earth, I would ever allow a man to come between or hurt one of my children. I don’t understand why women must have a man in their lives to be fulfilled. I’ve raised 3 children, and I can tell you with 100% certainty, I don’t need any man in my life. I’m just fine. Love being by myself (except my grandchildren, doggie and kitties ❤)! I don’t need the bulls**t. If this woman had anything to do with this, she deserves whatever punishment she gets. I’m very familiar with autism. Although Sebastian is 15 years old, his actions may reflect him as being younger. The child still needs his mother’s guidance, more than a typical 15 year old would. The stepfather may not like that the mom, still has to pay so much attention to the child.

In the interview major red flags: she giggled a few times. She also slipped and said Sebastian was laughing in the morning..but he was already missing in the morning? Things don’t add up and their story is going to be exposed. The dogs never picked up a scent. And two people with flashlights were seen in surveillance near the house at 3 in the morning. The last two people who saw him were mom and step dad. Prior to that, he was not in public since school that Friday at school. So who’s to say he went missing Sunday night? Could have been earlier. Mom had a polygraph, not step dad

I don' understand your train of thought. I have always told all 4 of my children "I love you" before bed. I say it every time they leave the house and I say it if I think they are having a tough day. And even if we are arguing right before they go to bed or leave the house.i also say it before we hang up the phone when we are communicating that way. We are vocal about our feelings. My children will actually say it first sometimes. If I say it first they always respond with I love you too. That's how they were raised as little bitty children and now as adults they do not think it's strange. They inturn say it to their children. When you love some one you should never be afraid to express it. I was raised with my parents never saying it. It's a miserable way to live thinking your parents don't love you enough to say it.

Step dads history is alarming, that proves a lot. Mom leaving the area with him. While bio dad, is searching daily for his missing son. It’s beyond obvious at The Proudfoots behavior. The mom almost seems afraid of her husband is a vibe I seem to get. One of the parental figures in home is sadly obviously guilty. Step dad didn’t know up for polygraph Nancy Grace set up for him either 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m positive Seth will. I could see a punishment going wrong. I have a non autistic 15 year old and this is a difficult age, at that age you are really becoming a young man over the next 3-5 years lots of changes, hormones everywhere as well as attitudes on top of his autism. I wished they never ever had custody.

I'm only 4:44 into this but before I continue I just feel awful for Sebastián. My son is 4 and was diagnosed in August on the spectrum. It is frustrating at times but I told my husband who is my son's dad also that I don't care how long it takes or how frustrating it may be, my son will not feel that energy from me. My frustrations about whatever I think he should or shouldn't know are a me problem. Yes it's important to make time for my man and work on our relationship but I can't see any mom in her right mind blaming her child for a relationship issue. This stepfather seems like he's the issue if he can't understand what it takes or how to love someone above everything else. And for this mom to prioritize her relationship with a man over a relationship with her child is trash. In my opinion she left that front door wide open for him to walk out of.

I listened to the long interview they gave on youtube, and honestly, i dont think the step dad did anything. Maybe after the fact, but not the actual event. The mother kept speaking about him in past tense, he was, he liked. She also avoided fond memory recall. She was asked about the great weekend they had but skipped right over that to when she told him to go to bed. In the news interview, she kept rocking and putting her hands to her face, while step dad displayed normal body language. The step father kept saying things like he is, he likes. Also, when asked about Sebastians taste in music he said oh he likes this band, or that band, and he even gave out a chuckle. This shows easy fond memory recall. Also, many people were very concerned about the way the step dad spoke, but that could just be him trying to be precise for clarity. People were also concerned about him talking the whole time, but what i see is he has no problems with giving out details, while mom clams up and doesnt seem to want to talk about it. Now im not saying step dad wasnt an ahole, but i just dont feel like he was the actual responsible party. Not only that, but it was confirmed he was out of town, and mom said she had him out on sunday during the day, so im sure the cops have already confirmed he was out in public with mom while step dad was out of town. I wanted to add, there was a case out of canada where mom and live in boyfriend kept fighting over the daughters behavior. Everyone thought the boyfriend was guilty because he threatened to leave the mom because of her daughter. It turned out the mom blamed the daughter for the bad relationship, and strangled her to death, tried to make it look like a sa, then reported that the daughter had been kidnapped from a parking lot. The boyfriend in this case had no clue and even repeated the mothers story to the news (much like step dad in this case), and the boyfriend was pretty devastated when he found out the truth.
