    Hi, I am new to cars and I had a couple of questions. How much money does it take to install? Why is it called the 850HP power package when on the dyno it only says 750? Also, I thought the stock ZL1 was supposed to make 650hp, so why does it only show stock 561hp on the graph? Thank you for your help. Great video, loved the car!

    Typically for cars, power is advertised as "Crank Horsepower", an estimate of what power the engine actually makes at the crankshaft/flywheel before travelling through the drivetrain. The chassis dyno can only measure power at the tire, so after power from the engine has travelled through the transmission and rotating mass (driveshaft/differential/axles etc). We usually see around a 15% loss in power from drivetrain loss on our chassis dyno.     So I didn't understand the 📉📈 Chart how Fast did it go on the DYNO 189MPH !?

    I'll have to check with the tuner to see what MPH it pulled on the log, but it is not recorded here. Our dyno is good for 200mph, and we typically try to run the car in the gear closest to the 1:1 ratio, and sometimes gets near that speed. The graphs show: FINAL: -750whp (Wheel Horsepower [power to the tire]) -730ft.lbs (torque output measured at the tire) Estimate: -882HP @ the Crankshaft (or estimated Engine Power) (an estimate based on calculated driveline loss from the engine power absorbed through transmission/axles, etc- we've tested around 15%) [This is how manufacturers typically rate or 'advertise' their power numbers] Baseline: -561whp (this is what the car put down to the tire when it showed up, completely stock) -583ft.lbs (this is the torque output the car did to the tire when it got here, completely stock) Gains: +189whp (How much power to the tire our package gained over stock power levels "plus 189 horsepower to the tire over stock") +147ft.lbs (How much torque to the the tire our package gained over stock power levels "plus 147 torque to the tire over stock")

    To the best of my memory, on the manual cars that go this route, we almost always end up having them go with a Mcleod Twin Disc Clutch setup, we've been extremely happy with those, never had an issue and still retain excellent street manners. I (media guy) can't remember too many, if any manual cars staying with stock clutches, most of the guys want to upgrade so they don't need to worry about it later, and can save a ton of labor while we're in there doing the package.     @@063.hunxdro3 You could always piece it together over time. Say for instance, starting with a cam swap and headers will get you some pretty decent power gains out of the gate, I think that's right around $4,000 for the cam swap on Manual 6th Gens.     Yall are gonna have to go clean up a C7 Z06 from the side of the road near US-31, homie thought he had me on my Speed Triple and I left him in the dust and saw a huge cloud of smoke out the back of it in my mirror. Pretty sure he money shifted it and blew it up.
