Bingo! That's (single trip bragging) old news. Everyone knows that by now. Separates the rookies from the pros. The first question every pro/veteran driver asks a show off is, "How much coming back?" I get $800 to $1700 pops all the time. Then sit for four days, or deadhead 10 hours to the next one. There's a lot of money out there, but little to no profit. All show.

I’m sure this depends on where you stay… I stay in Detroit Michigan and see drivers all over and someone who works at my job(ford) also does this and he makes decent money to be doing it on the side.
You were right at the limit weightwise.
I love the flooring and the lower attachment so you can keep the load from moving around, I have a Chevy 1 ton van so I don't have the top clearance but I've hauled a lot of stuff for my old business. Yes the brokerage and broker loads or goods would be nice, not sure your fuel consumption but on a gasser that would be way more
Cool

Also I heard one owner of load booking co who he also drives at times say if your not willing to live on the road for two to three weeks you won't make any money at all and you have to be able to get min sleep and to be able to keep driving and functioning but I saw you make over 6k in four days and you took a whole day off while your truck was getting serviced but again there was no talking it was like this so it's hard to know details about your daily and how you do things

You said never go above 3000lb over on sprints. They have the ones sprinter van with 6200 lbs capacity. Are they ok in your opinion if they go close to that 6000 limit? Thinkin about long term and how to properly care that’s why asking
@DaniilVataman

My max capacity is 3,800 lbs - I try and rarely ever go over 3,000 lbs, its bad on your suspension, tires, and other components. The vans weight around 6,000 lbs and you must always be under 9,999 lbs or you’ll be fined heavily and must stop at weigh stations as well as log your hours. Hope that helps

@@DaniilVataman Thanks for your reply. Suppose I purchase a new one with a max payload capacity of 6200 lbs. Do you happen to find jobs that ever ask for that type of payload? Not many channels show average lbs of cargo to consider before purchasing one. Wondering if I go with 6200, will it be bad and I have to stop at weight stations, or it’s suitable for future proof, or should I stay modest with cost and your type of capacity can still earn decent to good money?!

Came here for this comment.
Which one of these companies is best to work for? Elite Transportation good? Or On time Delivery? Or priority? I’d really appreciate the feedback.
There are alot of people starting to really get into this game, and people have to realize that once its on, people are ready to make $$$ so a little sounds like a lot when youve invested your $$ and you want to see a return quickly. So I say if you really dont want the rates to go down kindof school your fellow man on what he can get instead of being mad at him for taking a small amount for the bid. Cuz when I come thru Im getting to the bag, i dont care whT u think.
"Never go above 3500 lbs" does that mean the load itself to never be above 3500 lbs?

I purchased a 1999 Dodge ram van for $2000, I plan on using it for multiple things like this before I start my catering business. Mine was barely running so that's why I got it for a good deal, but the usual fix is just some new sensors and spark plugs with an oil change, comes out to a few hundred. If you find a car that looks decent but can't run, I recommend looking up videos on how to get the basics down to give it a good tune up. Good luck to you and I hope you have lots of success.
