@@Talionn_ Unpopular opinion, but I don't feel like clog is unfun to play against. E.g. Wild hunt decks are way more generic to play against.

@@Chronically_ChiII True that, clog is only annoying if it's like different leader secret clog. But if ur against Tactical decision, you should know something's up :D either mill or clog. In which case you keep ur valuable cards in hand. Only gamble is do you mulligan ur thinning cards. If its mill u should. If its clog u shouldnt. Only little annoying thing is that in my opinion. Mill and Clog are like angel compared to cancer 2x sabbath, ng status or braindead koshchey, mourntart decks.

love ur deck bro, but the provision has changed since the lastest balance council, hope u will update this deck cuz this is awesome.

If I've said it once, I've said it a hundred times: Clog is the ultimate skill check for opponents. For about half a year, I've used variants of GN clog to hit pro, and the experience is always the same: The deck crushes ranks 1-3 where players' skill levels are mostly meh, but as soon as hit pro and try to climb it becomes next to useless. Your list is a nice take on Hyperthin clog, easily more suited to climbing a bit since it's got more threats and wincons than the GN version. Sandor is just such an amazing match for clog - if he were to ever be buffed to 9 prov, that GN version would be borderline meta. Mentor, however, I'm a bit torn about. You write that it easily hits that high ceiling but in your selection of matches, it plays for sub-par value in what, half the matches? Personally, I'd prefer to go Blightmaker for consistent 7-11 and another means of pulling that one mage assassin that always bricks :D But that's probably a matter of taste more than anything.

Ahh ur that GN clog friend, hi there again :D You're almost right about the skill check part. Because if they draw bad and on top of that i put 6 bad cards on their top deck they're doomed. But thats more of an unlucky thing not skill. I still don't know if GN or this one is better. But i know that GN version dont have Rience and Sandor. And those are very important for the deck, especially Sandor. As you said if Sandor was 9p, GN version might become very powerfull again. But again as you said, this one has a bunch of wincons. Not completely relying on Kolgrim. He is more of a just a powerfull high end card in the deck. About the Mentor part, i've had bunch of very top quality games but the record program cut the videos in half and i realise that little late. So i had only these games in hand. Mentor most of the time played for +13 points in that cut games. Btw ofc its not a must, can be replaced with blightmaker. But in 3 card round 3's, play turn is Rience, Kolgrim and last Mentor just feels so good. Without mentor that last card would be a clog card and that would be 4-5 points last play. But this problem is caused by Rience so GN version doesnt have that problem.

@@Talionn_ That's me, I guess :D I couldn't say which one is better per se, but I would contend that your list has a higher ceiling, in terms of reactive plays and macro opportunities, as well as is more engaging to play. GN clog, at the least the list I play, thins down to 1 or 0. It has got a few small engines and Snowdrop/leader to win r1/r2 and kolgrim for r3. That's it. If opponents can neutralise snowdrop and kolgrim, they usually win. Every now and then, you play a cheesy 15p mentor or win with a second kolgrim via Assire, but those are rare exceptions. It's rather same-y. Your list has more threats with sandor, Rience and even Abduction - which makes it more varied to play and more capable of adapting to opponents. As for the age old mentor question, I guess I'll give the card another chance after the BC on the way back to pro.

@@Muckrackerz No reason to talk about which one is better friend. Just play what you enjoy :) I personally don't like the card Golden Nekker, that's why i have only 1 episode of it and thats ST. But now that you mention it so much and i enjoy clog very much, i will try a different memey GN clog deck. And want ur opinion on it :D Hope i dont pull Kolgrim with GN in round 1 😂

Only gg if they win :D but no, for real suprisingly i got a lot of ggs. Because in the end clog is considered a very low tier maybe meme tier deck.
