Yes, its amazing how uncaring children can be towards their parents. She at least had someone to help her force some respect out of them,. They can absolutely have no respect for any of your possessions at all. Even when you are fit and able, they will absolutely disrespect your entitlement to life. Its very frightening how careless they can be. Everyone needs protection from their children. Its a fact of life. They aint loving and they aint caring at all. And im talking about, even the children of loving parents can be totally astonishingly greedy and selfish and uncaring.

I completely understand your frustration. Unfortunately, the story I shared is a sad reflection of some family dynamics nowadays. Many elderly individuals face emotional and physical challenges, and it's disheartening to see cases where the expected care and respect are not fully extended. This narrative underscores the crucial need for open communication and mutual understanding within families. Sometimes, a lack of understanding or inappropriate actions from children can lead to deep-seated hurt. I hope stories like this serve as a reminder to cherish our loved ones while we still can and encourage reflection on how we can improve family relationships. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and for being here to support stories that promote compassion and reflection. 🙏🙏🙏

"What is wrong with kids these days?" My answer is different. It is mind conditioning by those who wish to control the world, wipe out 90% of the population and put AI chips in those remaining This has gone on for centuries and humankind has been brought to the very brink. All major systems are corrupt and to be changed. Coming soon. The tides have now been turned. The poverty created by these same monsters is to end and all systems restructured. Some names well known will be shown for what they are.

Of course kids worry about getting their share from their parents, its to be expected, as the parents bought them into the world and so they should do what they can to support their children in having their best life possible. Even the Children parents dont nessessarily get along with, should be equally cared for in the will of a parent. I suppose kids that have not been assured of their parents love and fairness, may feel the need to fight for their share.

I have done nursing and also activities director, and worked in hospitals and nursing homes. Am very glad you shared a story like this with a narrative of how it often can be, and maybe not always this way I know, as even I took in my grandmother and worked and had my family, but it was not easy, and my parents later on too. I felt it was my job as daughter and my love helped me to want to do it, but it is not easy of course. But everyone is different, and work makes it hard, but parent do pass away quicker than we think and often they are left with hours of time and even if they try to fil, it all they long to have the children car and love them. they gave all they could normally and how they grew up is how they understood to bring up their children, it may have bene perfect or not, but they are the parents. Only if they endangered the children can I see a reason to abuse them and breaking their heart with ignoring them does break t hir hearts. One thing we know " Grief kills" so then they die earlier than normal many times, I have seen some families who are wonderful and find time for their parents, and yet many just are too busy, and feel that it is not up to them to care for the parents, or give them any love or enjoyment, just because they brought them up, but 'so what, that is all necessary, and expected and they owe them nothing. " But some will be there for their parents. Others just are selfish, and not caring about anything else but themselves and what they can do with their own time, Then they may wonder why the parents found a friend who loved and listened, and they deserved to be left it all. People d pss quicker than they realize and statistics now say we are 'not living longer, we are living shorter life spans! 'I think that is because of Stress and Grief as they both kill, I know this video is pointing out how quickly times goes by, and we never know when that time is gone and what we can forfeit by ignoring the ones we should be' protecting and loving 'until they are gone,

I know other family members are closer to her and i just let them all be, as i dont want to be any part of it all, as awful as that sounds, but im sure thats how a lot of people feel about their parents.

Who paid for her carehome? The house would of had to be sold first to pay for that. I'm sure her children wouldn't of paid for it!

Hello, @theboo2009. How are you? Firstly, welcome to the channel. I'm very pleased to engage with you about the story. Your observation was very insightful. I'm not certain about the answer to your question, but in the story, it is mentioned that her children arranged everything to place her in the nursing home so that there wouldn't be any hindrance on her part. Considering this, I believe it's possible that her children covered the expenses just to spare themselves the trouble of having to take care of their mother from a distance. But that's just what I think... and what about you? Who do you think might have covered the expenses of the nursing home? 🤔🤔

@@balancedlifee In the UK the average cost of a carehome is around £800 or £900 a week. Unlikely her children would of afforded that or choose to pay if so. Far more likely they would of just left her in her house and forget about her, considering how selfish they were. But nice story anyway.

THOSE CHILDREN ARE DISGUSTING TO ME AND DESPICABLE. HOW THEY TREATED THEIR MOTHER WITH THEIR GREEDY HEARTS...NO CONCERN FOR HER WISHES. THEY SHOULD GET ZIP. SHE SHOULD MAKE IT LEGAL AND SIGN OVER THE DEED TO HER LOYAL FRIEND...IF SHE WANTS HIM TO HAVE HER HOME. THEY COULD HAVE LIVED THERE TOGETHER...HE WOULD HAVE WATCHED OVER HER AND PROTECTED HER AND MANAGED THE WORK AROUND THE HOUSE AND LAND. TSK. AS HE WAS STILL YOUNGER THAN SHE. STILL STRONG.

My buddy at work took care of his neighbor next door that was basically almost bed ridden for a couple years , he made her breakfast and dinner everyday and help her with whatever needs she had , when she died all her children showed up to divide her estate . Not one of those selfish family members ever told him thank you for helping my mom , not that it would have mattered to him , but a simple thank you for helping our mom I think would have been nice . I believe if he did not help her she would have suffered severely because up until The day she died , he never met any of her family . Everyone deserves care when they are ill . I wonder how these people can live with themselves knowing their mother is suffering and needs help … maybe she was a bad mother , I have no idea ? My buddy told me she was a very sweet person and it’s very sad her family abandoned her …

Many years ago my aunt befriended an elderly gentleman that would walk past her house several days a week. He was in his 80's and seemed very lonely. His kids were older adults and never visited him any more they were too busy with their lives. She (and my uncle) invited him to dinner one day and it became a weekly ritual . I r emember him always being at my aunt and uncle's house when I was a kid during all the holidays. She helped him with his groceries and laundry and even cleaned his house. Eventually he died and left two homes , his bank account and cars to her. His children took my aunt to court but they received nothing except $1.00 to each if them that he bestowed them in his will.
