Love that you braided her hair in its naturally curly state instead of doing a blowout/flat iron first. I find it ruins the purpose of the protective style when people do that

Yes me too! I asked for kinky twist and the lady wanted me to blow my hair out I had to cancel because Im trying to go heatless for a year or longer

@@jadematthews372 well you do know there is a cold setting on some blow-dryers. Might not be as effective as it be hot but it gets your hair to stretch as well

I only blow out my hair because I’m very tender headed 😭 but I only do when I get my hair braided

5-6 hours is excellent time lol especially for knotless braids you did great !
