@@aminulislamrafi6492 according to this known logic, user generate control word and write a program for that. Check 8086-8255 interfacing video for more clarity. Always remember 8086, 8255 these are machines they can't do anything independently. User has to decide how to program.

@@aminulislamrafi6492 8255 decide to select a perticular port or cwr, according to address and physical connection when 8086 executes a program. But user is writing a program hence he is deciding.
