Great videos mate, Enjoy seeing your finds although jealous most of the time :). I recently picked up the ADX album too, great stuff.

Glad others are picking up ADX stuff! Thanks for watching the videos.
Great collection update, love OG presses! or at least seeing them. I only have a few but love that old school look from the hay day is killer... I also love that Stormkeep T shirt.. just listened to that album on the way to work yesterday. Awesome video Simon.

I'm stoked with this shirt. It came up, one only in my size, on a facebook group. Yoinked it pretty fast haha.

‘Terrible Certainty’ was my introduction to ‘Kreator’… so I have a lot of time for it! Is it as good as ‘EA’… no, but it’s a close one!! That clip of ‘ND’ from British TV was the first time I ever saw & heard them & I was forever fascinated! Good to see you Simon!🤘🏻

Cheers mate! That would have been wild seeing Dave Lister introduce Napalm Death lol. And then get Bill and Jeff Walker in an episode of Red Dwarf soon after? Madness!
Great scores Simon. Terrible Certainty is my 2nd favourite Kreator album behind Extreme Aggression. I've got exactly that copy. Totally agree with your summary of the album, 50% Pleasure to Kill & 50% Extreme Aggression. I'll have to check out ADX. Sounds interesting. Never heard on Mandator. Love Napalm Death. 🤘 Love those Synthese band photos 😳😂🤣😆🤙 Cutty Sark....some sublime artwork there. I've been trying to find the 2nd & 3rd Grinder album. Totally want those first 2 Scanner albums.

Cheers mate! Good luck in your search for the Grinder and Scanner albums, they shouldn't bee too difficult. ADX rule.
I have all the Kreator OG on cd so i bought the coloured vinyl box set which is lovely.

Yeah I have the first four on cd, all early pressings
Terrible Certainty was one of my first 5 albums, my dad brought it back to me from a business trip to Germany in 1988/89. Still my favourite Kreator record, and not only for the obvious sentimental reasons.
@ExplosiveAction

It's a really good one, glad I'm coming acquainted with it now.
Terrible Certainty was the first Kreator album I bought and it’s probably still my favourite.

It's damn good, I'm glad to be revisiting it on LP!
All Watch tower material is a must in any thrash metal lovers collection. Very important band as they were the first technical thrash metal band. If you like complex music with intricate riffing a lot of odd time signatures and acrobatic solos them you'll love it.
@ExplosiveAction
Жыл бұрын
I was actually listening to it a little yesterday, definitely very complex!
Harmony Corruption is in my opinion ND finest moment. I’ll never understand why the album is so disliked by the band and fans
@ExplosiveAction
Жыл бұрын
I didn't know the band disliked it, but I think most fans love it! Unless they are grinders only

I agree, Harmony Corruption is a solid release. Everyone complains about the Scott Burns production, but I’m ok with it.
I love Terrible Certainty! I actually heard a cover version of the title track by Abigor 20+ years ago, and it wasn't until about ten years ago I got this album in my collection, but goddamn great album! Needs more love for sure!

Its shit like this that makes you one of my favorite VC guys. Whats with the eternal Godfather sound loop in the background, hahaha. Anyway, fantastic stuff man! Classics like Kreator and Napalm Death, and some cool surprises in here like Mandator, who though an Aussir man would own a Dutch, ugly ass record like that. That Bulldozer record rips! My local record store has an OG laying around for around 60 euros (if it isn't already gone).
@ExplosiveAction

Thanks man! Haha the background audio I loop on my DVD update videos, but last night I couldn't be bothered finding suitable music that wouldn't get a copyright flag. If you don't have Bulldozer than 60 Euro is about what I paid when converted so go get it!

I always wondered about the live Napalm vs Live Corruption. The video of Live Corruption is so amazing and probably my favourite live video. Great video man and you picked up some killer bad cover art with Mandator winning in my book

Cheers man, yeah it really seems the shows are one night apart and utterly different setlists. Mandator just made me hungry lol
Hello kreator terrible certanity the best album by far. I had it on red vinyl back in 87-88 i have the digi cd now with out of the dark included now. i love the album one of fav thrash albums of all time

All kinds of cool stuff there Simon! GRINDER is a band I've never heard. Used to see their stuff on sale lists often but never picked any up. They seem to have avoided appearing on every compilation album too. Am checking out that Synthese- that's a totally new one on me. I think I had a different Cutty Sark album ages ago. I know Ken has shown that one from the non-death metal section of his crypt :) Thanks too for the Heavy Metallurgy shout-out; glad you enjoyed the show!

Hey Alan! Glad to introduce some new stuff to you, I think you'll dig both Synthese and Grinder. And you're welcome on the shout-out!
Hello there, I seen a comment on a video from you recently and I forgot where. You were struggling to find a copy of Fulci Tropical Sun on vinyl. I noticed they've done a 5th press on Bandcamp but it's low numbers so you'll have to move quickly. I got one ordered as I've only just clicked with it.

Thanks mate! I actually have and love Tropical Sun, the one I want is their newest - Exhumed Information. Seems bloody hard to find the LP of.
Seen "Toxic trace" on Head Bangers Ball when I was younger. Couldn't believe it. Kreator among the hair metal videos. Cherry Orchards came along later and disappointed me.

Terrible Certainty was my gateway to Kreator. Love it. Need to pull it out again!
@ExplosiveAction

I'm not exactly sure what my gateway was! It might have been Extreme Aggression though of the first four, it's my least favourite.
Nice grabs, Terrible Certainty was my first contact so I enjoy it quite a bit, plus I've been on that bridge on the cover in Prague lol. And I've been to the Cutty Sark in Grenwich. Bizarre. Nice ND find im going to put that on now you've shown it.

OGs coming out the Whazoo🤘ultra sweet finds. I have a few of them already but a bit jealous of a few others I must admit 😝 I agree on Terrible Certainty, it’s a bit of both and I give it a spin as often as the other early Kreator albums.

I’m a quarter way through and I have to stop and save the rest for nightshift. Let me just say, you missed your calling as a door to door metallic preacher. I desperately need that Mandator. Jürgen brought that up too. A band I forgot about and a blatant black hole in my collection.
@ExplosiveAction

I hope you enjoy the rest! Mandator is.. mandatory. There, I said it.
Cutty Sark is also an Irish whisky. Probably where that band was going with the band name. That cover really piqued my interest. Glorious.
