This streamlined version of the popular 1980's fanny pack. Fields, features a double wrap belt, another accessory from the 80's. You can easily wear our bag as a crossbody or attach it as a belt as Sally Fields does in the 2023 movie 80 for Brady.

Another great tutorial. I love how the straps are attached. A great method. I got this pattern through the mini pattern club and have been waiting for the tutorial so I can follow along and make this cute bag. It is so cute. I love the style and cannot wait to make it. I have a feeling this is going to be a very popular bag and I will probably be making more for myself and for gifts. Thanks!!!

I cannot find good instructions for field bag strap and how to place the hooks. For the price I paid it would have been nice if they were included in pattern. The video wasn’t very clear to me either. I could not find a comparable instruction on you tube either. Let me know if there is a place where I can find specific instructions.

Thank you for your comment. You can find the video instructions on how to make an adjustable strap at the link below. We also added the different hook variations at the very end of the video as there are 3 different ways depending on how you like to wear this. We do find it helpful to rewatch and pause the video on the particular option you might like to make sure your hooks are in the correct spot.
