At face value of your comment I get your meaning. Would u change those times though? I think some youth missed out on a good era to a point they don't know lot of music is copied just lyrics r different. It's our duty as elders to nurture them w/ our wisdom (experience). Bodies age yet take care of it best we can. Especially our minds. Many young do learn from us, we just need recognize signs. ❤ To you and those who appreciate knowing past can prevent same mistakes. What a ride the 80s gave me. it was a great decade for sure. Made memories of a lifetime. What great songs, it takes me back to a time when it was beautiful, fun and crazy. Time sure flew be, I now have four kids and 14 grandchildren. Still married to my husband of 40 years.

Absolutely the best decade of my life. Just getting discharged from the Air Force, getting divorced from my 'military wife' and moving back home to Cape Cod, where I still live. Crazy, beautiful, stupid, funny, ridiculous times! Loved all of them. Now at 64 I'm starting to slow down. Life is good. Enjoy every day you're alive. 🙏🇺🇲✌️😎

I don't agree with everyone, but I don't hate them.

Oh yeaaah! I grew up in the 80's and 90's. those were really the good ol' days. I think people who grew up in that time are part of the last generation where kids still respected their parents and knew how to connect with others through sharing and games. It was a time when the moral fabric of society was still in tact. Being out on the streets at night was still relatively safe. People were friendlier, fun didn't mean drugs, alcohol or doing anything delinquent to seem cool. Those were the days when things seemed so much simpler. You knew who your friends were and hanging out could be simply listening to music, and back then music lyrics actually meant something. This collection brings back so many memories.

A big part of the issue is that both parents work nowadays work, kids get sent out to daycare and school and activities, so there is very little family time and values being passed down. Phones, iPads and computers are the final nail in the coffin and parents are often worse than children.

Whoa betide anyone who stops them. Yup 12 months conscription at 18yo or 16-17 if they leave school earlier. Young offenders…? 3 strikes, your out. Military boot camp, then conscription.

No computers or cell phones but we seen the beginning of music videos. We liked to be outside riding bikes with friends, boom boxes that used cassette tapes, drive in's, roller skating and talking on the phone to a girl for hours in my case. I loved the 80's it was a great time to be alive.
