Low Elo is really entertaining, it's refreshing to watch the unconventional tactics that can be used by less experienced and hardened players.

glad to see you doing the 700-900 range. makes me hopeful that I, too, could someday embarrass myself in a T90 video.

yup, my own elo is somewhere between 720-780.. but already on around 400 games and idk what to do to improve

I played like 10 or 12 games And stay arround 900. Not sure if i get new players who still have to drop down the ladder or this actually is my elo. Guess when i have time i have to play some more games

I have 20 games and i am 850 elo too. I just dont play 1v1 at all. I just go for TGs. Less stressful

It's okay man I just crossed into the 1k-1.2k range you just gotta pick a few strategies and stick to em just min max em. Micro too, it's just a war of attrition to climb my man you'll get it just keep going I'm rooting for ya!!

After losing 14 matches straight, I finally won my first ranked game against a ~150 elo player, feels good man. Correction: his elo was 139

@@matthewleadbetter5580 Ty :) Every time I lost I thought of giving up ranked games, it was harsh. I think elo should start from 500 and not 1000 for new players. I came close to winning in 2-3 matches before this but failed on queing up units.

I'm not gonna lie, I have gained some ELO recently from favouriting water maps. Players of 900-1.1k ELO can have some very clean Arabia and Arena/Hideout builds and play very well on standard maps, but will give up water control too quickly and then it's easy to close out the game.

Man i thought red was done after the first water engagement but he drops a castle and builds ALL THE DOCKS under it and makes a comeback like a champ.

t90 couldn't read the score but now he knows the play

Great commentary as always on LEL. And thank you T90 for having the big trees on. It makes all the visual difference. Both small trees and those circles are semi cheating in my book. I dont care if they are in the game they are just not right. Fun game though I love playing Islands. That map is just so strategically challanging especially if you are playing Vikings. (No fire ships)

Those two players did actualy make an amazing game. They might not be pros with perfect plan, execution and adaptations, but the match was a joy to watch. The aoe2 has the best community, thanks to guys like those two and us in this chat. Keep it up bros - meet you online aftee a long day of work!!!

T90 at the start talked about people playing Island maps to boost their ELO b/c their opponent is unfamiliar with them, and I think blue ALREADY elevated his ELO with island maps to what he is now, whereas he's going up against someone who is actually that high 800s elo. I havent watched beyond 5 min but im betting red wins.

Villagers have to chop the straggler trees, T90! If they don't exercise in the early game, they won't be strong enough for efficient collection in the late game.

Every update I lose the small trees being selected. After every patch I spend the next month playing the game and getting mad at the start "I didn't turn the small trees on!!!"

T90 likes to say that AoE2 is 20 years old and is a very hard and complicated game, but Wizardry 7 is a 30-year old game, and only a handful of people have defeated the Beast of 1000 Eyes.

how anyone can watch t90 at normal speed is beyond me.

Would there be an island version of ace of emeralds where you put a far dock for fish near the enemy?

Blue would of won water if they had simply used attack move, i see this all the time in my games, im 700 elo, and i win a lot of my water games simply by attack moving vs an opponent who right clicks on water.

It always amazes me how I'm baffled by how people around my Elo play in LEL. This just means how much worse I am, to what I think I am😬

also yes that is the BEST way to handle mods that introduce QoL changes that could give players an advantage Just make that an official option to play with.

If blue had a good build order he wouldn't be 900. A build order is literally all you need to beat probably everyone up to 1200 who doesn't play islands. (a large proportion)

Yeah everyone starts out at 1000 elo and you go up or down depending on if you win or lose matches

i used to be 800 elo. haha. now im only 1200

as a moba player when this stuff came up about ranges..... why keep it invisable? it makes the skill cap of the game higher sure, but in the right way? what are the skills you want to be the promoted in this game? and is, "how many invisable tiles did you memorize the town center having" one of them if it's about memorizing ranges, sure,, but i thought it was about how you use those ranges, that made the game, so, why hide that

Once it was GG[when i saw blue havin trouble with dark age in comparison to red] i just went to 2x video speed Red was more solid so either blue found a secret strat and went to higher elo without experience or red had a big loss streak(20+ games) and struggled to recover

t90 I view the small trees mod the same as I view every other cheat code . the game was made with normal sized trees and it makes it a little harder in my opinion.

So do the mods get used in pro tournament matches? I believe it looks horrible so I wouldn't use them, also the tower radius is something you can simply learn through the amount of games played, along with building placement with the grid lines...I wouldn't call myself a true pro if I had to use this... its like cheats.
