+ICNMTSU Thing is, Lapis didn't need to do it. Lapis had emotions for only one half-gem-half-human, Steven. She didn't care what the gems did or didn't do, she just wanted to protect Steven. However, she hated being the pushover of both the Crystal and Homeworld gems. She wanted power, over someone, over anyone. She didn't need to fuse. She could've let Garnet and the others bubble Jasper and pick a side. This would cause problems, as Lapis only cares for Steven, so there'd be about as many fights between Lapis and the Crystal Gems as Peridot, possibly more. She got power-hungry and took a risk.

Personally I think that when the lyrics go "you found your way home finally" I think that it might sound better as "you found your way home back to me" but it's still really good especially for an extended cover too, you don't see many good ones of those anywhere.

This is an absolutely brilliant cover, addition, extension and interpretation of one of my favourite little songs from Steven Universe. How you extrapolated this epic ballad from 30 seconds of Steven singing is amazing. This is now one of my all time favourite songs. Of all time.

I wasn't too sure about it in the beginning due to the pacing and then where Steven and Lapis were talking. It just seemed to be another common fan-cover but when I heard the electric guitar? Man I got chills! So glad I decided to give this cover a shot! Nice job man! Sub earned!
