Then Abu Bakr (Ra:) told him to accept it. You would better search for it if you don't know (I hope you do). Because I have written it in my words, there would be mistake. May Allah forgive me If I made any mistake, Ameen.

Repent and promise never to miss salah. Also offer sunnah and lot of voluntry prayers and do lot of good deeds.

Don’t follow *shortcuts* Islam already has *simple* ways already. First, make estimate of missed Salah. Start 5 times Salah every day. After Fard Salah or before, do Qaza Salah of other four Salah that time. For example if you are performing Dhuhr Fard, do Qaza Salah of Fajr, Asar, Maghrib, Isha for previous days. In short don’t miss any Salah now and repeat the missed ones x4 or x5 times for each time of Salah everyday. Contact your imam to confirm but except Isha if you have many Qaza you can do Qaza of Dhohr and Asar with 2 Rakaah but confirm from Imaam first.

The reason for his death was not solely because of the flood itself, but it was because of him neglecting the rescue he was given by those who tried to rescue him by saying that God is the one who shall save him. You see, Allah has indeed given us the blessing that is dua, but he also has given us two hands to the action.
