Nah this nice but Abel's sweet vocals are just.. indescribably good. Shit makes my eyes wet with joy and lifts me up out of any sad hour. Mfs have this compulsion to root for the underdog but sometimes the big guy is just that good.

Both are great versions. Donda Hurricane is like a baptism but this Hurricane is like home.

This is V2, V1 is closer to the one at lp1 but way better. I do think V2 = The final release though. If y’all ever get a chance play the final version of hurricane while walking in the rain and use moon as it’s outro. It’ll be the most cinematic shit y’all ever experienced. It made me see why he changed hurricane to the final version we got. I play this version when I’ve reached a point to where I’m at peace in life and I play Donda’s version when I’m reflecting on life and the decisions I’ve made.

But the magic for me is the way that he sings degrees, the De go High and then the gre calms it down, it's almost like a lullaby. The song Energy is like mauve and pink with the old school camera vybe is like watching a happy memory and feeling present but away at the same time, and with Ant magic its feels like a choirboy it singing all of that... Love this version

crazy how this version sounds like a completely diff song than the album release. Same exact chord progression and hook, but the vibe is just so different. So much more melodic and passive/introspective. Album version is more an assertion/anthem
