My favorite too was Painted Petals, it is just so gorgeous. You know what I would love Amanda? Is to find out what the interior design theme was for every year since the first LifePlanner.

Maybe Erin Condren has done a blog post on that? I looked at their blog listed on the bottom of their website...but not sure how far back it goes and if they have ever shared that;)

I love taking a walk down memory lane! I found EC in 2013, and bought my first ECLP to start in 2014. I loved the paper change. I really miss the original concept of their “neutral” planners - the monthly and weekly spreads were almost all black and white, but we still got a tiny splash of the monthly color (easy to cover up if we wanted), and we still got a black & white design theme. There’s no reason why EC cannot put out their yearly design in colorful AND a black & white neutral, along with their floral and canvas. Those older neutrals were my favorite!

I miss when EC would come out with totally different themes each year. Now it feels like slightly tweaked variations of bold colors and flowers. My favorite was neutral harmony

I used EC academic year planners in the beginning. Now I use a calendar year life planner and the teacher planner.

Calendar year gives you a chance to pick it up on sale if you can wait! And I love the new options in the teacher planner this year;)

I’m a teacher, and I have been using a cheap Walmart brand planner over the years, but now with a new position I have more places to be and more things to do. So, I ordered my first Erin condren planner. Super excited. The Star Wars themed one of course, it was the only more gender neutral but decorative planner. (PS I never seen Star Wars. lol)

I love love EC planners. They are so colorful and pretty to look at. Out of all the planners i had tried past two years. EC are my favorite ones.

Great video Amanda! I loved seeing all your previous Erin Condren's and all the old artwork. I think it is a pity now that the new designs do not feature on the weekly pages but only on the dashboard page, as I would love more colour. The older artwork you showed here used to be more colourful, also it is a pity they have less decorative stickers too. They should probably do a decorative sticker book and a functional one and let people choose what they want. Thank you for introducing me to Erin Condren :)

Gotta say thanks for all your planner reviews I just went back to the EC daily duo for 2024-2025 😄🤗 and I still love how the paper smells 😂

I started my journey with EC in 2016, and I have kept every planner since! I memory plan in them, and I LOVE to go back through them and see how my planning/decorating has evolved over time! I also enjoy going back through them to see all the pictures! Like you said, one picture brings back so many memories and a story to be told! I love taking time to document things in my planners! Thanks for sharing your planners and how you use them!🩷

My first Erin Condren was in 2021 the Hello Kitty horizontal when I had two jobs as a community health worker(CHW) and at a hotel for transitional housing. I discovered Erin Condren’s customizable stickers and that saved my tail from overload. That is my number two must have from Erin Condren: her LifePlanner and her customizable stickers! Now 😂 can’t be without those stickers! ❤❤❤

Love that we started the same year with EC;) And I like hearing your other fave too!

EC still sells the theme single page stickers with the thick washi strip but the designs aren’t nearly as interesting as they used to be. I miss that they used to have more deco stickers.

Those early years designs were really nice! I wish the numbers were indeed bigger at the top.

I have been away from EC for quite some time, I love graph and dot grid but may check out the new ones, they are also too big I prefer a B6/Mini Happy planner size

I got my first Erin Condren way back in 2012 maybe? I used it in nursing school. I remember thinking how big of a purchase that was for me. I thought it was so expensive. Then i would just buy target planners... now i bounce between planner perfect, happy planner, hemlock and oak and now i just got the new EC daily duo. The weekly overview got me. It comes Monday! ❤

I remember I started in a weekly vertical in July 2018 to use as a Keto meal tracker that was suggested by a KZread video I watched. But after about a month I dropped the diet (lol) but wanted to still use the planner and by chance saw a “PWM” video and I was hooked. I’ve been paper planning with EC ever since!

It's because I have to see my monthly at all times so it's in an Ashley Shelly Monthly notebook on an acrylic easel on my desk at all times;) So I do heavily rely on my monthly...I just need it right in my face like a wall calendar;) I share about that in my quarterly planning update videos:)

My first EC was a 2023 monthly in the harmony colorful design. I had a hard time choosing Harmony Colorful over Colorblends. Maybe since Harmony Colorful was my first EC, it’s one of my favorite designs? I’ve googled past designs and I like Candy Lace, Zig Zag and Woven Wonder(?). I prefer Layers to Evolve. I’m actually unsure about 2025 since I don’t care for Evolve or Bold Blooms. As a functional planner who likes color, it’s a disappointment to see less design on weekly pages but I recognize they can’t please everyone. This year I tried an academic planner but returned to a monthly even though I do like the internal design (Colorful Cosmos) of this year’s academic and next year’s (Sunset Floral). When I wanted to try their petite goal planner, I bought Hold the Vision, Trust the Process from Amazon rather than Watercolor Stripes because of the beauty of the internal design. I can’t imagine the amount of email they must receive from Team More Design/More Color vs Team Less Design/Less Color. As always, thank you for your reviews. I used your link to buy my first EC.

Eric Carles illustrated his books with layered tissue paper. For those who don’t know, I’m talking about the Very Hungry Caterpillar; 🐛 Polar Bear Polar Bear What do you hear?, etc. they are magnificent repeated line stories for children. I am a speech pathologist and these books are great for teaching phonemic awareness, prediction, etc. Love that one and the one this year

All vertical… I just bought one, a horizontal…. Now I am wondering if vertical is the way to go but I found the vertical not very wide for notes. … hum…..

The horizontal is just a different way to plan:) I think that is perfect for if you want to write longer items:) I've used the horizontal to journal in as I showed here:) Or at least I think I shared it in this video....

I just shared my washi storage in my recent Planner Perfect video:) Just some basic washi drawers from michaels. I don't have a ton of stickers...I use EC Sticker books to store all my Planner perfect ones...but they don't sell those anymore:(
