Great video, this could have come in handy years ago in my old house where we dealt with a much wider range of temperatures. Don't have to worry about that as much now.

Simple Tek Thank you for your video. I was looking for ideas to minimize time consuming and the risk of my plants dying when I'm out of town. I like the last two methods. I love the hydroponic because it reminds me the "chinampas," which is the system created by the Mexican culture, the Mexicas. In Xochimilco, Mexico City, people still use this method to grow flowers and vegetables for commercial and living purposes. However, the wicking beds sound less complicated. Do you have a tutorial in how to build the wicking beds? In advance I appreciate your help!!!

@@thedestroyer3879 I like grow bags. you can buy them commercially or just use a cloth Walmart or some other store's reusable cloth bag, they are pretty much the same thing, whichever is cheaper for you. I recommend watering them by a timer with a piped watering system, mostly cause I'm lazy and like automating things, but if you have the time you can water them manually and it will work. Grow bags allow for higher oxygen amount to get to the roots while still using soil.

Aeroponics uses mist. Sprayed or dripped water is hydroponic.
