I was thinking as well that they could have hit skill checks until they reached around 96% then missed the last one. Though your idea makes more sense to not have to try and time it as much.

They could have also just pressed nothing because last I checked if you just miss the skill check by not pressing anything the gen gets blocked but there is no failed skill check penalty

They could have also just let go of the gen. Supposedly you don’t regress by just letting go but it still gets blocked.

So since Dark Devotion stacks with Unforeseen, does that mean you can have 3 terror radius’s with Skull Merchants Iri add-on?

Sadly we dont know now that the PTB is closed :(, i am guessing so, since even after the killers becomes undectable from Unforsen or Dark devotion so it should work with the Add-on

The reason why strenght in shadows with botany is red but faster is due to the fact both self care and shadows have their set percentages as charge rates, which means any effects that affect healing applies the penalty to the charge rate rather than the base charge rate of 1c per second. This is calculated as follows: (base charge rate*debuffperks*mangled"if applied")+ healing buff perks percantages*new healing rate. This means that running strength in shadows would be .6c/s, running it with botany is .6c/s+.6.c/s*50%. Another scenario would be running those 2 perks with the killer running clowndaphobia(yes thats my name for it) so it would be (.6c*50%)+.3c*50%.

Good to see you back. Fun fact with Weaving Spiders doing the gens, any gens done this way wont ever light up or even alert the killer, the number will just silently go down. Anyway, for a proper answer using game logic, DBD is completely fine with all 7 gens being completed. In fact, back in the old, old days, when the gates were powered, players could still find and complete the remaining 2 gens if they wished. Here, all the gens would hit max charges, and all of them will complete, then be blocked. So yes, it does all 7 generators.

If you let go of the gen while merciless storm is active (instead of failing the skill check) than the gen wont loose charges, meaning it will remain at ~90%, and that means that theoretically yes, a blocked gen can be completed ✔️

healing bonus speed is added to base healing value used, meaning that 60% + 50% is not 110% total, but 90% total 60 + (50% of 60, or 30%)

Note about botany (and all heal speed perks) on SIS (and selfcare), its increasing the 60% by 50% becoming 90% instead of additively making 110%

myth: both survivors and killers can see the flashbang placed on the gen for Blast Mine

For the "7 generators popping" at 3:45, I remember having a bug where we finished the fifth gen and one of my friend was still repairing a generator. I was able to join them even, we finished it and nothing happened, not even the sound effect when a gen is normally completed. If anyone is intrigued I think I could try and post the clip, but that means that DBD will only consider the first 5 gens, the others don't really matter (which is why they end up all appearing as completed when you run past a gen you didn't even touch when the last one pops I guess?)

A lot of perks that have % based things are additive they’re multiplicative that’s why it wasn’t as fast as you would expect

4:45 the killer can use fire up to determine if it pops all 7 gens since fire up gains stacks with every gen pop

Having done a lore build with Insidious and lightborn i can say that its my favorite build on him cause its really easy scares

Myth : (When failing to dispel a hallucination, you become afflicted with the bubble until you properly finish the dispel.) If the killer has the addon that afflicts you with bubble upon completion of a gen, you can remove it by failing to dispel followed by a properly dispelling.

7 gens don’t pop because weaving spiders works in a “Wave”, staring from the closet gen to the farthest within 1.5 seconds completing the 5 closest gens in those 1.5 seconds

Myth: The unkowns projectile will affect a survivor even if standing behind a wall or obstacle or it based on line of sight of where it lands

Myth: if the weaving spiders ritual is finished before the generator’s entity block animation ends, the gen will be completed instead

I've noticed that completing gens with Weaving Spiders doesn't actually give anyone (survivor or killer) any notification that gens are completed; you'll only see the remaining gen counter go down. I'm not sure if it's a bug, if the gen ding notification is tied to a survivor touching it, or if it's intentional. You could probably test it with Fire Up to see how many tokens are gained (or if this somehow gives you NO tokens because a survivor isn't touching!). My guess is that it'll only count the 5 generators that have slightly more progress than the others. I think it'd be worth testing Weaving Spiders with Deadlock!

I love your myth busted videos! I have an idea how to check "all 7gens are popped" Option 1: 1. Killer stands on place on map where they can see all gens 2. Do the gens at 90% 3. Activate Weaving spiders 4. On Killer POV bubbled should be visible Option 2: 1. Finish 4 gens 2. Do last 3 gens at 90% 3. 3 survivors stand near not-finished gen, 4th one actives Weaving spiders . On survivor POV it will be visible whether each gen was finished 4. Additionally killer can watch bubbles on their POV

You could probably test the myth about 7 gens being completed by using perks that gain stacks as gens are completed such as coup-de-grace

I don’t really understand why the blinding the hallucinations is even a question. They got rid of flashlights countering all killer powers. They said they wanted consistency, so they wouldn’t add the ability to flashlight the new killers power.

in the PTB I have already used Lightborn and Insidious with the killer.. Because I kept going against SWF teams using nothing but flashlights n so forth. I thought it was funny but they hated it.. But then again those kinds of teams tend to hate it unless they all escape so its to be expected that they hated it.

Myth: Does blood rush work when permanently exhausted (like with Artists “O grief O lover” addon)

So I have a myth that I have wanted busting for the longest time. Call of Brine, when you kick a Generator, turns it yellow and applies its effect to it for 60 seconds. When you have Surveillance equipped, the aura of any Generator that is regressing becomes White, but then becomes Yellow when it stops regressing. Additionally, when you use Trail of Torment, the last Generator you kicked and applied the perk too becomes White until it is no longer regressing. How does Call's Aura-fuckery interact with the aura effects of Surv and Trail, since they obviously clash?

you could of used the survivor perk to block the gen at 99 progress and then use invocation to actually test if it would complete or just stay at 99

Myth: using both Potential energy & Prove Myself (maybe resilience as well?) will give you faster potential tokens while Prove gives the work speed bonus to the other survivor without the downsides "aka red bar" of working together on a gen

Myth: Legion's fuming mix tape add on stacks with Hex: ruin, giving 200% gen regression while in feral frenzy

Does the Gen-Pop with Weaving Spiders show up on the Killer’s POV by chance? So maybe 99 7 Gens and then use Invoke whilst the killer stand in the corner of the map and see their POV?

Do the merciless storm myth again but instead of failing the skill check leave the gen instead. It will not explode but will still get blocked and then do the invocation to see if it completes

Just a FYI. I get the feeling you did not play the game till after some things happened.. But a long time ago you could not damage generators as a killer. So survivors used to get all gens to 99% then finish them to get more BP. ( And back then it was easy to do due to the existence of infinite loops being everywhere.. Cow Tree was the most infamous/famous one back then. ) It WAS possible to bug the game and finish all the gens after the gates where powered but its a bit tricky. Keep in mind that was back then. ( It required all the survivors working together and also having good timing. ) Keep in mind, no generator auras and this was just for more BP as they could finish off the last bits of gens that normally you could not complete. There was also a time where the entity never had its claws show up so you could do that regardless at one point as well. So there is that.
