Thanks for this! Had no idea about the lens option in the app - super helpful! And the quick access to all settings for each mode. I typically change one of my shortcuts to be EV Comp (never use zoom). Still working out what other shortcuts might be helpful, but great to know I can get into the whole menu more quickly.

GoPro's can be so hit-and-miss. I find the absolute main thing is to shoot in optimal conditions with them. If you watch their flagship footage, it's always shot in the most ideal lighting conditions. Great little cameras, but we've gotta understand their limits. It's the price you pay for such a small sensor.

I honestly like the challenge. You can shoot in less then ideal conditions as well but you just gotta be creative in how u handle it. I like to try and not fight the limitations of the small sensor and work within them. That cliche saying “it’s not the camera it’s the artist” really is true haha.

I have a GoPro Hero 6. What does a Hero 11 offer that a Hero 6 doesn't?

I was posting my question everywhere and clearly nobody has an answer to my question, not even the self proclaimed 'GoPro experts'. They have no idea what I'm talking about. I was hoping you can give me the correct answer to my simple question? Now, let's just be honest about it ... we all know the GoPro media mod is a worthless add-on simply because those microphones are terrible. So, as a serious videographer, I need to use my own external microphone. My question is this: Can I use a USB-C splitter on the Hero 11 so I can simultaneously connect the Volta (for longer shooting times) and an external microphone like the Rode Wireless Go2 or the DJI Mic? Will it work? If yes, what USB-C splitter do you recommend? Thanks!
