It is fact, yes, that Islam has not fought elite guys, of his division, like Charles and Izzy; but as noted, it's not his fault. Even when he was still Top 15, last year, nobody was clamoring to fight him. Virtually all of his fights were against lower ranked or unranked guys. He moved up rapidly only because the UFC now sees him as a real potential and enduring champ. (The organization, for example, hasn't felt the same way about Arman Tsarukyan, whom Islam had a tough time taking down, who indeed took Islam down for the first time, albeit briefly... because Arman is about 3-4 years younger than Islam.) Even now, at #4, he still won't find easy takers, now that Benneil's injured. Bobby Green agrees to it only because he's a tough guy who doesn't care about the belt; for him, making close to $1M in two fights... is the real rewards. They WILL pay him very well taking on Islam in 10 day notice, like what they did for Hooker.

Unfortunately for Islam Khamzat is the least hit person in the UFC 10 fights and only been hit ONCE and has struck opponents 268 times! 278/1 is insane

You can't really compare 3 fights with the much larger number of fights of Islam. Let's see how Khamzat does in total in around 10 fights. He could probably pull it off. We'll see.
