Thanks for watching!
Enjoyed your video Joe! I’ve been to Italy a couple of times. I need to visit some of the areas you shared with us. I have family from Abruzzo and will be visiting there next year spending a lot of my visit on that coastal side. Thanks again!

Thanks! I love Abruzzo and I'm trying to encourage others to go to some of the less travelled areas of Italy because there is so much else to see. Enjoy your trip!
Thank you for those inspirational travel tips! Ischia is definitely on my travel list as well as nearby Procida.

Great informative video! Thanks for creating and sharing. Do you recall the name of the place in the valley where you can grill your own Arrosticini?

Yes I think that it's located here but I haven't been in a while. I went there my first time in Italy but the second time it was closed. www.google.com/maps/place/Ristoro+Giuliani/@42.405468,13.7435126,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x1331cdecff89f973:0xa8875ce7bc031db9!8m2!3d42.4054625!4d13.7435302
Nice video! I believe Rocca Calascio is where they filmed part of Ladyhawk and The Name of the Rose. I'm sorry you didn't like the seafood but I'm pretty sure that the octopus at 7:42 wasn't raw (probably boiled or steamed), otherwise it would've looked almost liquid, like a puddle in the plate. I don't think I've ever heard of anyone in Italy that has ever eaten raw octopus.

Well they did tell me it was raw but maybe it was "cooked" in like a lemon juice or something which a lot of the dishes were there... either way I really did not enjoy it 😂

Great tips, beautiful area, excited to check it out as we prefer authentic un-touristy. Does your uncle have an Airbnb😂?❤
Ischia is pronounced EEZ-KEEUH...even if you used the English "ch" sound, it would be EESHEEUH, not EESHKEEUH. And also Vieste is in the Gargano region so is referred to as the spur, not the heel. I understand how much you love Italy, so I recommend watching some KZread videos on Italian pronunciation. Check out the free 30 day beginner series by Manu, of Italy Made Easy which I highly recommend. Nice work.

Niina blaackwell..i can tell youre not from italy no italian born and raised there would sit and talk about somebodys pronunciation over the internet theyre way more focused than that and engaged in their own culture to be criticizing people w their own dialects
"Way back in 2017", problem had Sanskrit for its subtitles.
‘Secret locations’,…. Where you have to queue up with tourists on a hiking trail. What a great secret!
