I love how Tuff is tough but he wasn't scared to show Lane how much he truly meant to him.

My dad was kind of like Lane's dad. I knew he loved me but he never said it. We almost lost my son at child birth. Every since that day, my dad has told me how much he loves me & tells me to let my son know how much I love him.

Not saying I don't understand why that would be hard for Kellie to do, but I think accepting an award on her late husband's behalf isn't a lot to ask. I mean, he WAS your husband, Kellie. Since his death, in real life, she has all but erased everything connected to Lane. I get that some people have to do that in order to carry on, but it's a bit selfish and unfair to your late husband. You can move on with your life while still respecting Lane's life. I have yet to see that from this woman in any fashion, not in this movie nor in real life. She acted like he was an annoyance more than a life partner. I don't believe those two would've lasted had he lived. Tuff, on the other hand, has shown real grief. He did care about Lane, and Lane cared about him. I am glad those two had each other's back, in spite of the banter. Tuff always talks about how good a person Lane was and how Lane made Tuff a BETTER person. Even gave his son the middle name of Lane. What do we get from Kellie? Silence. As if he never was at all. Not very cool, but that is strictly my opinion. No need for the haters to come out in droves.
