I haven't watched your channel in a while. I guess because luxury unboxing vlogs don't translate to my life i.e.current inflation and upcoming recession I'm hearing reports of in 2023. However, my favorite vlogs are luxury regrets. Regrets are a learning lesson for me. It validates, I don't need it.

We have been under soooo much stress in the past two years, me have made so many decisions without thinking clearly. I always purchased on sale, and in 2020 I started paying full price for items I did not need (in lockdown). What I mean is that you are not alone on this one 😘😘

That jacket is ❤ My biggest regrets are.. Chloe Paddington bag and the Miu Miu Bow bag. Completely impractical, huge and heavy. Rarely used and sold them about 8 years ago and made a massive loss.

I just have a cheapo cardholder off Shein and it's so perfect. Im looking for a luxury brand that has the same features but haven't found one. It has a window on one side which I use for my transport card so I can just tap it when I get on and off train, without having to take the card out. It has a zipper on one side which I use to to put money. And it has a key ring which I put my house key on. I used to have to dig through my bag at the front door looking for my key. (I don't have a car so I only use 1 key) And it can hold about 10 cards in it's slots. And its so compact it doesn't take much space in my mini bags. I'm considering the Chanel coin purse with flap. I'd want one that has pocket on the back. But it wouldn't be as compact and convenient to use as my cheapo one. It's so pretty though so maybe it's worth it...

I found myself nodding to so many points that you raised, but my favorite was the six ring key holder. It’s funny because in hindsight it seemed obvious - you already had one that worked for you, you didn’t have more than four keys, you didn’t need to put a credit card in along with the keys - and yet you still bought into those videos that claimed that the six ring key holder was a ‘must have SLG’. It’s doubly funnier because I had almost the exact same experience except I didn’t have a four key ring holder (but I did have a plain leather six key ring one that worked perfectly well, was soft, and was so easy to work with), and I ended up selling it within two weeks of purchase. Ugh. So ridiculous of me, and such a waste of money!

i have 3 keys, i have the 6 ring holder. but thats because my car key is huge and it fits in there at a diagonal. 😃 and i have a keychain with a pic of my son hanging from it also. i dont think i could live without my 6 ring key holder!

You could easily wear those brighter shoes with jeans and the Lily Silk shirt or any plain neutral top I reckon, coupled with one of the patterned Chanel bags, the Fendi multicoloured FF or the Arty Capucines to tie it in. Having things on show is definitely key. I’m in my fifties but regarding fashion and make up my head is still mid thirties. It has a tendency to think it can still dress the same way and for the same body or the same lifestyle. I walk away from almost every would-be-purchase to give myself a good talking to, my ‘cooling off coffee break’ I call it so I can mull over everything I’ve had my eye on whilst sitting still and not continuing to look at stuff. Sometimes I go back to buy, most times I don’t… that $5 coffee has saved me a fortune. It’s a process 😅.

The emperiente leather on the Victorine wallet is easy for cards to get out. I've heard other people who have a canvas one have the issue you're having

I love the Victorine but I have it in Empreinte and I think that makes the card slots easier to use. Also I think if the sneakers were one bright colour they would be easier to style. eg all black outfit with orange sneakers - boom! but orange and white make it difficult to then add in another colour from your wardrobe. Def think you need to persevere with the Gucci jacket - its amazing!

Great video thanks for sharing I usually get a inspired version to see if it works for me. Im glad I didn't waste my hard earned coins on the Balenciaga hourglass bag a few years ago..I hated that top handle and how award it was to snap closed.then came their recent ads smh I gave it away. I always hated dunks alot of people in the ghetto wear those plus they hurt my big feet.

Put a white turtleneck under the Gucci top. Wear in the fall- wear the yellow Gucci suede shoes with cream pants. Those are beautiful.

Amelia I have an answer to your Gucci jacket and Nike (pronounced nikee) dilemmas. I know yiu wear bright colors but some neutral t shirts (white and or cream) will fix both. Wear a color near your face that looks great on your fair skin and Gucci jacket on top. You can wear it now with a thin turtleneck or a Crew neck tshirt underneath even in the winter as you will wear a wool coat over it. Same for the Nike shoes. White tshirt or sweater and jeans. Or Colorblock with any color would look great. Match the top to a bag, Wear a pair of white or blue jeans and the orange Nikes and it will look great! Thanks for sharing all this. helps us to think more about our purchases.

Not that you need to... but say as a way of helping the regret... and bought with THAT sale money something you will use all of the time... won't it be as if they have bought two items for you? One of which now makes all the sense..? Lol me as a virgo who can't help to voice out an idea in my head that makes perfect sense understanding not only it is unasked for advice but might not help anything at all because us humans and our emotional attachments just don't work the same hahahaha

I do think that yellow goes great with pink and purple and red and orange... such pretty shoes. Suede though...i have a pair of black suede knee high boots lol for winter lol. I know i was too naive hahaha now I'm never buying suede shoes ever again lol
