8 reasons why you should consider this tablet 1)it’s still has great quality including the feel and look. 2)it has headphone jack. 3) the screen is big, bright, and beautiful. 4)you can use the Apple Pencil(highly recommended) and you can use more accessories. 5)it has the A12 chip which means the performance is fast. Including opening apps etc. 6)you can do creative work comfortably including editing, writing, and taking notes. 7)The tablet is great for gaming- such as Minecraft and call of duty mobile. 8)the device is at a great price-the build quality is great as well. Recomendable for your first tablet and editing. Also great for school work.

@@trixie9880 I don’t think it will be. Even when using my iPhone I have 64 GB & it’s not enough gb. I’d recommend getting the one with more than 100 GB since it is school work & art work

Don't buy Paperlike. Go with Bellmond Kent Paper Screen protector, which is pretty much the same but a lot cheaper.

Good video Noah‼️ iPads have completely taken over in my house 🏡 I have been using my 9.7 2015 iPad Pro 128 as my primary CPU since 2015 and decided to upgrade to the 2018 11” iPad Pro 256 last Christmas 🎄 and decided to get my wife one for Christmas. She told me last week that she has only used her laptop 👩‍💻 twice this year because the iPad was so much easier to use‼️

Thanks for the detailed comparisons. I just ordered an 128 GB iPad 8, (from Amazon), along with a cheap, (but very well rated), keyboard/case and earbuds to go with it. All together, the order was ~$500. I consider that a pretty good deal. I’ll probably upgrade to the Logitech case/keyboard down the road, but for now, the ~$40 one I ordered should do the job.

That's 2nd Apple device after iPhone SE that gives you amazing value and functionality for reasonable money in 2020. Great move to bring new customers into Apple ecosystem. This tablet will be perfect addition for my wife iPhone SE as part of Apple ecosystem.

The thing with Matt screen protectors is they where down the Apple Pencil faster causing you to buy a replacement for the top of the pencil

I bought the this iPad, no regrets. I also have an iPhone 11, AirPods 2nd Gen, Apple Watch Series 3, and the Apple Pencil.

I switched out my Pro for Standard iPad with the logitech keyboard case a few days ago and I have no regrets. Pro is great and all but I don't need that kind of performance (all I do with my tablet is read and stream videos) and it's way too pricey with the magic keyboard.

@Ken88 Honestly, I was enticed by it’s sexiness Lmao. I tested it with the magic keyboard at Best Buy and I watched a lot reviews of people praising and I let it all get to me. I made myself believe I needed it.

** Want a suggestion : Choose one Ipad 7th gen 128gb or Ipad 8th gen 32gb . Will be using : * lightroom *illustrator * premier pro (often) * pubg * word ,powerpoint , excel * note taking etc

For the price this is my next tablet.

An accurate assessment, the only negative for me is the hollow sounding screen when tapped, otherwise it is well worth the £320 that I paid.

Although the laminated display is a bummer and the lack of true tone i guess this is a better choice for me as a student the Air although has laminated display 64 may not be enough for me and I know I can go to 256 but thatd just expensive AF I can get used to the non laminated display and when I have my undergraduate degree I may have enough in my savings by that time to have a PRO

You make me go back and forth between my pro-con list to buy my first ipad! 😂 any input to choose between ipad 8th gen 128gb and ipad air 3 64gb ( thats my price range for buying an ipad..), which one is more likely to go for the long run.. let’s say 5 years from now? they actually run the same chip A12, but space memory-wise, for student who does note taking , probably gonna stores many pdf books (for my casual reading and of course for the school), and NOT a user of procreate or any video editing.. all that animation stuff..I wonder whether 64gb will be enough 🧐 I do want that laminated display and wider space (10.5”) to take notes, but if its gonna hurt my 5 years plan- I’m willing to toss it for the glass chunky display and very slightly smaller display 🤓

Thanks for the video. I am a very beginner photographer and I am in need of upgrading my gear - I have an old macbook pro. I like the idea of editing on a touchscreen and by using a smart pencil so I am seriously thinking about buying an ipad. Would anyone know if this would be a decent enough tool for me?? Also is there the option of adding external storage? I don't usually do a great deal of shooting in terms of storage space but i would like to get more into it, perhaps some video editing too... I'd appreciate any help from this awesome community! Thanks!

I bought a iPad 8th gen yesterday for uni. I also have a MacBook Air, but I can’t help but think that maybe I should of gone with the iPad Air 4 that’s coming out next week. I mean it does everything I need it to and I have my MacBook but maybe to iPad air 4 will last me longer?

In my own research the iPad gen eight can do basically the same as the new iPad Pro. The main difference is the magic key bored ,the gap, and true color.

@@KoolKukumber I got it for Philippine peso P19,000 or $394 US dollars, what makes it more expensive is because of tax, though it is 32gb only, but I’m happy with my purchase.😊

For people who want to skip the long comment by me - the verdict - i am going for the tab s7 instead of ipad entry level for various reasons. Read the full comment to know why. i dont have the budget to go for an ipad 8th gen (costs 406$ + 120$ for pencil + 15$ for cover - total 541$ here in India- lets consider 550$ ) - But i am going for the samsung tab s7 on no-cost EMI (costs 718$ total with the stylus + another 30$ for its cover totaling 748$ - lets consider 750$) here in India. The reason for this decision is - why should i settle with an entry level device(with lightning port and non-expandable 32gb memory with outdated looking design and thick bezels and wrong positioning of the camera for use with a kickstand) for when i can get a flagship with 120hz display at 748$ here in India with a pen included and also 128gb internal (that also expandable) + ability to play fortnite /install apps from any other app store (and also repair cost of samsung is much less than the "almost-half-the-cost-of-table" costs of apple if i drop it by mistake). Coming to the pros of app store now - the apps which were earlier kind of exclusive to app store are now on the playstore as well (noteshelf as alternative to goodnotes 5 - its not so good as goodnotes 5, but the devloper is updating and adding new features/stability of this app at a world record speeds - but has most of the features and serves my needs). Not only noteshelf, many other apps which were earlier exclusive to iOs are now available for android tablet as well which does the same things and even more apps are coming to android(even the same devs are also now coming to this open ecosystem of android) - so the reasons for going for an iOS device is just fading away (i'm saying with reference to ipad only, not iphone which got the dominantly better video camera for 4k 60fps recording). Oh and 1 more very important thing for note taking students like me - the S pen has a button which can be used for switching to eraser fast, whereas the apple pencil 1 does not have it. So to be frank - i dont even see a comparision between the two here, with the tab s7 being dominant here by being a bit costlier than the entry level ipad (like 750$ instead of the 550$) ... So tab s7 all the way even though i have to spend 750$ instead of 550$ for a note taking/video viewing/casual gaming device :D :D :D (oh and tab s7 supports 45W charging as well - but sold seperately for around another 25$ here in India, but i'm not gonna buy that)
