Hello! I'm 14, and my mom has always taught me to speak with elderly people since they have so much to share. Yet I can't really with my own grandma often, seeing as how she's an extreme alcoholic and pill addict. I just found your channel today, and I already love it :) Hope you're doing well!!

Hi Kiley, Im 52 and have 3 kids. My Grandmother was born in 1903 and her mother was still wearing corsets! When I was 17 I asked her what the meaning of life was. She said "having fun". At the time I thought this was a pretty lame answer but now I get it. The older you get the harder life becomes and having fun becomes rare. My grandmother lived to 96 and I miss her. I hope you can find a way to connect with yours even though it is hard, she will be gone one day and when this happens you will have so many questions you'd wished you had asked. Remember to have fun in your life if you can!

@@bluefoxblitz8416 Very sweet message! Yes, the past year or so I actually have been closer to my grandma. Not super close, but much better than in the past. I've always wondered what people say the meaning of life is, my mom says that when I was 4 years old I asked her, "What is this life mommy? This life just can't be real. How long does this life go on, mommy?" 😂 I definitely agree with what you and your family think.

Ask everyday: 1. What is your perfect day? 2. Who do you spend your time every day? 3. Is this in my control? 4. Are you a to be or to do person? 5. What am I missing in life if I choose to be afraid? 6. What is really important to you? 7. Does this really matter? ~ and so on distracted by ads 🤣 Thank you for your great content!

Good morning Sandra yesterday was Valentine’s Day and this 70+ year old widow, woke up, feeling rather lonely and a little unloved. Which also made me feel selfish because I have two lovely children who I know love me. Within an hour of having these feelings, my bell rang, and I received a lovely bouquet of flowers and cards from them, I felt happy, blessed and a little ashamed. It’s 3am and I couldn’t sleep so I looked you up. What a blessing you are Sandra. I will be asking myself these questions every day. ❤

Thank you Sandra for lifting me up tonight. My 51 yr old daughter has been diagnosed with uterine cancer. I still can’t believe it; I know I am in denial with such a terrible event in our family. I think why her instead of me? She has a lot of living to do and I am closing in on the end of my life and healthy. It’s hard to have a positive attitude when there is so much suffering that can happen and no control over it. But, my faith will walk me through this and know there will come strength and grace that will keep me strong and my family.

Great questions. For me: My elderly mother, my animals, and music (being a vocalist once again!) And off course some family member's physical health and spiriitual growth that is lacking. there. I wish my mother had had the opportunity to have you as a friend/guide, if it it had been so, her life would have been so much better. ❤

2\14\2024. Just now listened to this video. Very nice thank you. I woke with more back pain then normal and a headache and I was walking my mind away from "ooh poor me." So I was looking for Jesus and I wondered what he thought and I gave thanks for Him and my life. And I started asking what do I want to do? Normal first video I listen to is a daily Bible reading. But your video was the right place to start this morning. Thank you.

I just adore Sandra. Her advice here is a real gift. I'm 63 years old this year, and I needed to hear this tonight. I've been having health issues as a result of injuries suffered while serving in the military, and it's been depressing, to be honest. Also, while I was in no way still in love with my ex-wife, but I found it depressing that she passed away this summer. So, it was rather nice to hear Sandra's advice. Thank you, Sandra.

My good friend came back from Mexico after traveling abroad with 3 gut bacterias plus other health things so not sure how long she will be here. I've learned to like my own company and of course i have my Shih tzu. Luna Rose, love her so much. I also have my soul mate, he can be a challange but i love him.

“What is important in your life?”...Sandra Safety is extremely important in my life. Probably because I came from a single mother background and survival resources were alway extremely scarce; often we were on public assistance. And my mother conveyed her terror by way of cautionary tales about life! This traumatized me to alway focus on safety foremost. Over a lifetime I earned several degrees, started a few small businesses and took some chances in order to earn higher rewards in the financial markets. All this I did NOT because I was ambitious, HARDLY...I did it because I was always SCARED...

Irina, please take care of yourself in your 20s. Please do not get involved with anyone who is addicted to alcohol or drugs or food or drama or anything else, if you get involved with someone like that, you will regret it for the rest of your life, believe me. If anyone is physically, sexually, verbally, emotionally or financially abusive to you, leave immediately, never give them a second chance, never give them your new address, change your phone number and passwords and never give them to the abuser. Never get involved with someone else's husband, they will not leave her for you. That is one mistake I didn't make, I never got involved with anyone else's husband or boyfriend. But in my beauty, innocence and naivete I got into a relationship with a "dry alcoholic" who abused me and pretty much destroyed most of my life. I did not realise then that the choices we make in our twenties affect the rest of our lives. Protect yourself from toxic abusive relationships. I was always surrounded by "friends" and admirers in my 20s. I learned the hard way that being alone is much better than being in bad company.

Thank you Sandra for being such a warm and cheerful person. I'm 61 and it just assures me that ageieng doesn't automatically turn a person into a cynical, bitter and demanding person. No ! Someone at work said this about me some months ago : Just don't be fooled by Tricia; wait a few years down the line..... all this pleasantness and understanding person will be gone ;she will be a demanding, difficult , mean person. I refused that description and pointed out that if I disliked something my whole life there is no way I'm going to like it in my old age. Thank you that you are a living proof that one can be pleasant, warm and caring even as you are in your senior years.

Good morning my beautiful friend> I ask many questions every single day. I like to think I have a especial connection to the Lord. My biggest concern is making sure my son is well! As for me I always asked God if I did something good today that pleased Him!. My life has changed so much after pandemic, and I realized the things that truly matter to me and one of them is peace of mine. I make sure that I did something good for someone every single day. It is not only about me but about others that are less fortunate in life. I hope to be a better person than I was yesterday and be better tomorrow than I was today. I am a bubbly person and I walk around always talking to others and loving life. Mom was like that.......So glad to have friends like you.................hugs.......ILY..................MINDY

Love your video! All your videos are so thought provoking and give us all "food for thought". Thank you for sharing all your wisdom with us ....your community. Yes the world is not the world I grew up in (64) and that's where my fear comes in and I'm working on not giving it so much power over me because like you said it stops you dead in your tracks and that is exactly what it does to me. I really pray I can overcome this. I admire you so much ~ Much Love to you and Arthur 🌹🌿🌹🌿🌹
