Concerning Mickey and Ian from Shameless without a doubt one of my favorite gay couples. I LOVED the wedding cake topper it was so them!

Brian and Justin from QAF US Magnus and Alec from Shadowhunters I think are the most Iconic gay couples with unique storyline which you've not listed.

Where is Malec from Shadowhunters? They are more iconic than many of the ones you listed.

Malec are more iconic in the books

Magnus & Alec will always have my heart their relationship was so touching. They should be on this list.

A few couples that were missing was Omar and Ander from Elite; and, if you go back a couple of years, Aaron and Jackson from Emmerdale; Sam and Grizz from The Society; and Jez & Mickey from Casualty; Travis & Emmett from Station 19; and, of course, Bruno & Pol from Merli.

Impressed that you included Sonny and Will - from a daytime soap - which not as many people follow as prime time series. You added WilSon! I am so happy, I don't think I have ever seen a list of awesome/iconic/significant/you-name-it gay couples that mentions Will and Sonny. Also, I absolutely agree with at least 90 % of these. If you ever feel like doing a part 2 with another 8, there's Robert and Aaron (Emmerdale), David and Keith (Six Feet Under), Agron and Nasir (Spartacus), Ed and Oswald (Gotham.... might not be 100 % officially canon, but still the biggest ship on the show), Will and Hannibal (Hannibal), Quentin and Eliot (Magicians), Jack and Ianto (Torchwood) and Philippe/Chevalier (Versailles). If you're thinking about doing one with ships that aren't canon, but incredibly popular.... I have 8 of them as well. This was great fun, you should definitely do more!

Thanks for the list. There are some couples I wasn't aware of. Since there are International couples on your list I am suprised that you didn't mention Aaron and Robert from Emmerdale on British ITV. Or I am also surprised that you haven't mentioned any of the couples from the various SKAM series. It was first popular in Norway, then was produced in other nations due to its popularity, France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, and Italy. They all devoted a season to a gay couple in each series. Some are still being produced.
