It's gotta be said: ghosts, ghouls, zombies, cryptids, whatever - none of them are as scary as a plain ordinary _human_ who's decided to prey on you. When humans go bad, they're literally the worst.

absolutely! Only a few months ago, I was in my bedroom and my children in the den- one of them came in my room and said “Mom I think somebody just tried our door handle”… I peeked out the window and saw no one so I checked the cameras. Sure enough, someone had indeed tried our glass door handle several times and pretty roughly. The scariest part was when I spotted the second person hiding behind our palm trees in the front yard. I’m so glad the door was locked and was scary even in broad daylight.

What kind of weirdo leaves their door unlocked? There's no reason to not lock it unless you're going in and out. I'm not afraid of anyone just walking in, but just... there's literally no reason not to have that security in place.

Before ring cameras, this was years ago, my aunt saw a man looking into her bedroom window (ground floor) so she put on her gorilla suit and chased him away, he ran, she scared him. She moved to Florida and was walking to the local mall when someone ran by her and grabbed her purse. She held onto the purse and with her other hand made a fist and socked him in the nose, he let go and ran for his life. Aunt Frances was a ninja!

Whoever is reading this, I wanted to say I hope you have a great day and that God loves you so much that He sent His son, Jesus, to die on a cross for your sins and He rose again from the dead three days later. God Bless! And also, He doesn't want you to go to Hell, but He wants you to go to Heaven with Him but you have to be Saved. How do I get Saved you might ask? Here are the steps below on how to get Saved! 1. Believe that God sent His Son (Jesus) to die on a cross for your sins and that He rose again from the dead 3 days later. 2. Confess to Jesus that you are a sinner and ask forgiveness for your sins and Turn away from your sins. If you sin again after asking forgiveness of that sin, ask forgiveness again and try not to do it ever again. Jesus will forgive you! 3. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and your life and for Him to be your Lord and Savior forever. 4. Build a Personal Relationship with Jesus by Praying and Reading the Bible daily and Live for Him Forever. I'm Praying for you and you are loved (Romans 10:9-13)))

My mom wasn't the brightest when I was a kid. A scruffy, disheveled guy came banging on our door late at night when I was 8 years old. He said no one else would help him and to please help him. He was just in a car accident and needed someone to assist him. The smart thing would of been to say, ok I'll call 911 for you- but I can't let you inside. She let him in, he was bloody and reeked of alcohol. He was hurt, and she began dressing his wounds waiting for 911. He lied about what happened initially, but he flipped his vehicle over the railway tracks down a bit of a bank near our house. He didn't harm us, but she was alone with 8 year old me, my 6 year old brother, and 14 year old sister. No way I'd be letting someone in. Could be part of a kind act, could be allowing a house hold slaughtered. Rather go with caution. I partly think that comes from being in an Era with no cell phones, but its no wonder those violent incidents were more common back then.

When i was little, in the early 80s, me and my sister shared a bedroom. We lived out in the country in kentucky where everybody knew each other. We didn't have close neighbors. My dad taught all 7 of us children how to use a gun and to respect it. All of my 4 brothers could hunt. We were in bed one night and me and my sister heard footsteps outside our window. We didn't turn the light on but quietly got out of bed, went to our parents room, woke them up and told them. Dad quitely got up, went and woke my brothers up, never turning a light on. They grabbed their rifles. 2 went out the front door, my dad and another brother went out the back, my younger brother was too little so he stayed with us and mom in my parents bedroom. They snuck and met together to where our room was outside and the man took off running. They opened fire while he ran for his life through the woods up a hill. The next day, i saw footprints under our window and there was broken limbs from bushes thru the woods lol. We never had another prowler again.

Then on this particular day, I walked over to my dog to tell her to get away from that shed. That’s when I saw 👀 someone inside peering out at me through cracks in the door. As I stepped closer, I saw a person dressed in all black move back into the corner of the shed with a hand raised. I think if I had opened the shed door, I would have been struck by this person. I ran back quickly with my dogs to my house and called the police. By the time they came, the person had fled. The police speculated it was a squatter.

4:03 as soon as she knocked and spoke I immediately thought she was bait. Yes, her words are saying help, but. In my opinion, there was no urgency in her voice. She didn’t actually sound scared. And she only jeot saying please help me. And just from my own experience, most girks knocking on a random house in the middle of the night, if they are legit in danger, most times they’ll say something about the situation and why they need to get insider. example, “he’s coming he’s coming please help” or something like that. And the fact she kept looking back, as if to silently check with whoever was there. Like after knocking sbd yelling snd getting no response, looking back to see if they tell her to keep trying or to just leave. But even with all that said, a HUGE amount of young women and children are often kidnapped, trafficked, any number of things sbd one of the biggest things for those people is using their founder girks exactly like this to make it appear innocent, real, and the girl diesnt want to, but she has no choice. It’s so sad.

This happened to me about 5 years ago (UK). It was night (just after midnight), I was chilling on the sofa, eating (curry), drinking (cider), and watching a film (Mandy). All of a sudden, there was was a knock at the door. Of course, that's weird as fuck and of course, I don't open the door. I peek through the curtains and see a man in a hoodie, hood down. He saw curtain move and made eye contact. I then move towards the door and speak through it. Me: "Yeah?" Them: "Alright, can I use your phone? My mobile has ran out of battery." Me: "Pull the other one, mate. I wasn't fucking born yesterday." I then returned to my sofa, unpaused Mandy, and continued to get slightly shitfaced. This is in a council estate, and really, nothing dodgy happens around here. I walk around it in the dead of night with me dog, and it's only us two, and sometimes a couple of people getting ready to work a nightshift. Very peaceful. No issues for 12 years I've been doing it. Guy likely meant no harm, and probably did need to use a phone. But, you know, I'm not fucking stupid lol, and he should realise ain't nobody gonna open the door even if what he says is true.

I had an incident when I worked nights at the hospital. I would leave my porch light on for when I got home. One night I got home to find my porch light off. At first, I thought I had just forgotten to turn the light on, but then I got in the house and saw that the light switch was flipped to be on. Thinking maybe the bulb had burnt out, I checked the light. The bulb was completely missing. I called the cops and had them check around my house to make sure no one was hiding on my property. Thankfully, they didn't find anyone but neither they nor I found any traces of the bulb either. Never happened again, but it was creepy and baffling.

10:14 The woman was most likely trying to lure that one person out of the house, because if the person in the home didn’t answer, then why was she trying to hide when lights turned on or cars went by? Because in reality, if someone was that desperate for help, they would go to places with lights so then they could be seen, but the persons door she was knocking on, it was dark. So she was obviously baiting the person to come out

When I was a lot younger I had an incident where a man tried to drag me into a car as I left work late one night. I broke free and ran into a nearby subdivision as the man and his car were between me and the door of the facility. There weren't any cameras then. I ran to a door where I saw lights in the house and banged on the door yelling for them to call the police. The man chasing me stopped in front of the house and sat there. I stood with my back against the door and watched him ready to start screaming if he got out of the car. As a siren was heard a few minutes later he took off down the road and disappeared. The residents of the house came to the door when the police arrived. I thanked them for calling them. I didn't mind that they didn't open the door as I wouldn't have entered anyway. They may have been helpful but I might ended up going to a house that wasn't safe either. Crap shoot either way.

As a woman in a small town, they are closed at night I did this when being followed by a crazy ex. I was lucky and took off before he got to me and went to a bigger town. CCW all day everyday now. Like condoms, I'd rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it.

The man in the last video has a very clear and hilarious explanation. Looks like a married man who's hooking up with the neighbor while his wife is out of town, but the husband of the woman he's cheating with came home from work early. Having left his clothes in the living room, with no time to grab them, he had no choice but to sneak out the window. Being butt naked, he had to make it home as quickly as possible, but he knew his only path was to pass by his neighbors security camera. Luckily it's night, its dark, so he figures if he stays as close to the ground as possible, and slowly crawl, he can get passed the motion sensor camera. Back home covered in dirt and grass stains, no clothes on, but no problems, wife's still out of town, he thinks he was able to sneak past the camera without setting it off so as long as she was able to hide the clothes before her husband sees them, they're in the clear. Then the next day he sees that the neighbor with the security camera posted the footage, claiming a crazy person is in the neighborhood crawling on peoples lawns 😂

Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. We all were: Psalms 51:5 - Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Our Life Is Like Unto A Race 1 Corinthians Chapter 9 24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. To have the moment on stage, wicked and sick ritual must be performed. They are masons in masonry. Nothing`s real, only illusions. They have it harder , to give their soul over to CHRIST and return back HEAVEN (Luke 18:25 KJV and Mark 10:25 KJV) true Christians are born again = new creatures in CHRIST, able to no longer sin and able to understand GOD perfectly. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. GOD `s expectations to us: come to repentance come out from BABYLON born again live holy do the will of your heavenly father. Matthew 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. 1 Peter 1:16 - Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. I have a ring doorbell and i got it specifically for the intercom feature. If you don't have one, or if yours works well, you might not realize that they have huge drawbacks and fail all the time. Most people don't know how to problem solve technology like that and a lot of people live in highly controlling situations. There was a known glitch when I tried to set up our account so it had two full-access logins. The other adult in our household couldn't sign in and view anything for a few months. It was one issue after another and we didn't have time to deal with it over and over. If that's the case you can likely only view the stream/interact through an echo show, and you have to know the commands or understand the interface to get it to work. There is a huge lag here, probably due to WiFi congestion. In the past we would only get notifications and bell chimes after the person had already left. There are still delays sometimes, like right now someone just came in and said "I'm home!" And I got the motion alert (from them walking up to the door 3 minutes ago) 30 seconds later while I was typing this. A lot of the time it hardly works. Some cops were bothering us a few months ago and we could hardly communicate through it at all. I still am not opening the door but I can see why people don't bother using to use the camera, assuming they even have access in the first place. I would guess that in most households only one person has the camera set up so they can talk through it and see who's out there. Often no one else in the house can even hear the bell go off, it just notifies the techy person's phone. And of course most kids wouldn't have access. Video doorbells have many many limits

I had already opened the door halfway. I'm just so fking lucky because there were also people outside, like a group/gang of 12-15 men, who saw that there were two men right next to my door standing like waiting for something/someone, which is a wall and i can't see it. They shouted at them, and the 2 mofos and the little fake fk kid ran to a different side and i also saw them ran away and the girl, i was confused because why she ran too. Then this group or gang came to my house and asked me what's going on because there were two men wearing masks and hoods waiting right next to the wall, they said. And I told them that the girl was asking for help and she was genuinely scared, so I was willing to help and let her in and call 911 incase she is lost or what, and her family too if she knew their numbers. Then they replied that the girl was not in trouble; instead, I was in trouble because my ass almost got robbed if they weren't there. My door was already half open, but thank God, I'm just so thankful that this group of men were there at the moment, or else I would be dead or have lost a lot of items by now..

i've heard way too many horror stories through the years to ever even THINK of opening the door for a stranger at night. if someone i don't know is at my door in the middle of the night, there's NOTHING good about that

I had a strange man ring my doorbell. Not too long afterwards an 11ish year old boy rang it. Was looking through peephole for both & did not answer. Felt the boy was used to get me to open the door. Immediately had a bad feeling for both of them.

My older son gives me flac as to why I always lock our doors, and this is why. People are crazy & you never know what they're planning or what they're on. I constantly remind him that he can always knock or unlock the door with his keys.

If someone is truly in danger in the middle of the night and they see you have a doorbell camera and they don't say call 911. Do Not Open The Door!!! If someone is taking forever to answer the door and your truly in trouble you would at least want the police to get there ASAP
