Miss Queens!! Miss the diversity in culture and food.
Another great video, Sarah!!! I can't wait to visit Queens!
So many great tips! I wanna check this new food court!
Wow wow wow!! I love this!! I visited NYC this year in February before lockdown and stayed with a friend in Queens! I love how diverse it is!! So much yummy food you can’t get anywhere else! I totally saw these murals and didn’t realize they had such background to them! It totally revived my desire to move to Queens (when covid is over hopefully this spring) 😅
Many thanks again Sarah, some superb idea’s & recommendations for me, I’m staying in LIC, so yes I’m very grateful.
Looks like fun!! Your a lot of fun to watch!! Thanks!

Hi Sarah and Luis. Wonderful video, from one Queens girl to another! My mom took me to Jamaica Bay so often as a kid; I feel so fortunate to have memories of hiking nature trails with views of lower Manhattan, particularly of the Twin Towers. Thank you for these “love letters” to our incredible city. May you and your family stay happy and well. Best wishes for 2021! 💜

Recently, I have been learning about Uzbekistan and have been interested in trying their food. I will stop by in Queens to check it out and hopefully go to the country one day.

Nice but what about the bronx? How bout the Bronx next? I haven't seen you done any videos there.
Rokhat bakery is on Austin street and it's a few minutes away from Forest Hills High School, which is where I went. It's also where Simon and Garfunkel and the Ramones went, in the spiderman comic books Peter Parker went there, and it appears in the movie Basketball Diaries starring Leonardo Decaprio. One last thing: im 99% sure you dont pronounce the "k" in "bukharian". For the four years i went to forest Hills HS ive never heard someone pronounce the "k", and Hills is filled with bukharians. Either way, cool vid!
I lived in Queens all my life...Short ride to NYC...Rent is reasonable...So much to do..Check out a great Bar Restaurant..Called The Wharf on 116 street On bay Rockaway Queens...Great drinks and Food..You can sit outside and enjoy the water..Customer Service is awesome...Come to Queens..

I love ny, i grew up and was raised in Queens... but NYC is just so damn expensive and unless your making 250-300k combined income, dont bother living there. My biggest problem with NYC are the tolls, you cant even travel anywhere 30 minutes in NYC without hitting a $8 toll bridge (unless you go to Long Island) not to mention the astronomical cost of parking on the streets in manhattan (cheapest is $4/hour street parking) and unless you have family inheritance or a bucket load of money, you most likely will never afford your own home there... 100 year old dilapitadd homes in flushing queens sell for $1 million where Im from

great stuff never saw this, unfortunately I've just packed my bags and left nyc, was a good few years but that city isn't going to be what it used to and still not worth the prices.

I think there are a lot of sovereign countries (around 40- or 50 maybe)that the UN does not recognize and more occupied territories that the people of that territory/country consider themselves independent (Think that number is closer to 100) but def. don't quote me I haven't studied this in almost 10 years! eeek i'm getting old
