Which Battlefront on the PSP is your fav? BF2, Renegade squadorn or Elite Squadron?

Renegade, just really like the maps and some of the features a bit more for some reason. Also I always confused this with Rogue Squadron 😂

I only played Elite Squadron on the DS, but I had fun with it especially in New Game+ where I can keep my lighsaber

Renegade S. Really loved it storyline. I wish i could enjoy ES story as much, but i think that it was too rushed, as if FreeRadicals tried to do a more complex story with the same amount of missions, while they should've just do whay Dark Times 2 campaign did: make a storyline on a galactic map with optional levels/planets for bonuses and more character development. Like, i really wanna know how X2 managed to defect the Imperial army, what X1 was thinking about this, like, some cutscenes like in KOTOR that shows just Villain's perspective on cureent events. Or maybe they could pull the same thing that was done for The Force Unleashed: make a novel or a comic, or both (like Shadows of the Empire), with their own exclusive elements.

I remember loving the new features of both games, too bad playing on the psp was not an enjoyable experience, I really wish they put all of these games together for pc and consoles

I remember wanting a PSP back in the day just for this game. While Battlefront 2 is still my personal favorite, I put Renegade Squadron as #2. I like elite squadron, but renegade feels so much more polished and complete to me.

Honestly, Renegade Squadron still has my favorite Battlefront story to date. Tells a different side to the battles we saw on the screen or were just mentioned in the movies.

Renegade squadron was my personal favorite psp game, so many memories playing online and glitch hunting with friends. Your videos are helping me unlock some positive memories 😂

Come on Sony! Add RS & ES to the PSP classics list on PS4/PS5!

I’d honestly get a PS5 just for that. Unfortunate they will probably never get added to the Microsoft store on Xbox

If they ever make a new (good) Battlefront, they need to add all the unique features they put from both of these games cause I love the idea of minor character customization (but I want to keep the classes), those amazing new weapons especially some melee for an melee class, and definitely new characters that should've been in like Ben Kenobi or Commander Cody

I think battlefront 2017 and 2015 are great battlefront games. Definitely better than the older games imo.

Would love to see more exclusive appearances for a future Battlefront game. The lack of different appearances in 2017's Battlefront 2 was disappointing. Darth Maul and Palpatine should've had WAY more customization options.

I be played both elite and renegade up until they shut the servers down. Was a sad day, miss these kinds of games

As an original BF2 player, I was totes jelly that PSP plebs got to play with customizable classes. In the long run, the PC BF2 wins as it still chugs along, but imagine the modding potential of a PC released RS or ES

@@VGLounge there's mods for that probably though, right? Even on vita all psp games are modded to use the right stick instead of the face buttons for aiming. I'm actually playing through battlefront now and it's not bad. I assume on PC itd be even better

It was so cool to play Bf2 on the go thanks to the psp. But as cool as it was having them on PsP, the experience is even better playing on Ps Vita.

Dual analog sticks and everything is great on Vita. Game changer for all the psp releases

I loved renegade squadron as a kid. My favorite part was when col serra said “time to go renegade squadron on the enemy” and then renegadeded all over the empire.

I love this game tbh, I hope I can find my cartridge again one day, I for some reason prefer this over Elite. I really like the neutral space stations as you can get a special starfighter sometimes.

Thanks for the in depth video! BF2 was my favorite for PSP overall but I loved the customization in Renegade Squadron. I always wondered as a kid why the game looked and felt so janky in comparison to BF2. But the extra details based off of SW lore + crazier weapons + character customization made up for it! These games were so fun!

Playing over wifi one es and rs during sleep overs is core to the psp phase of my childhood

I wish they added renegade squadron for ps2 and pc maybe with the same campaign as bf2 but with more added maps and customization from renegade! It would be amazing

I remember being like 5 years old and my Parents got me the PSP collection with the All white PSP and the Darth Vader silhouette on the back before it got broken. I played this game non stop for almost a decade and a half

0:42 I like that they added a neutral station but walking in there to get to its weapons consoles took so long. 3:46 It's not the same as a clone turbo tank,juggernaut from episode 3. It is a A5-RX battle tank. Its in both PSP games & It appears in one issue of a Clone Wars comic. (Not canon) Here is a fact suggestion for OG Battlefront: In OG Battlefront 2 campaign last level if you look up in the sky right at the beginning you can see the rebel transports fleeing.

I loved playing this game so much on the psp. All the SWBF games were great on psp imo

They really need to bring this back. Especially the customization capabilities.

I love this game. It is such an underrated gem and so much fun to play.

3:46 These are different "turbo tanks", the one in Episode 3 is the HAVw A6 Juggernaut (HAVw probably stands for Heavy Assault Vehicle [Wheeled] or something similar) and is MASSIVE while this is the A5-Recon Juggernaut or A5-RX battle tank and is actually based off the HAVw A5 which is half the length, height, and size of the A6.

Oh shit I was wondering what SW Battlefront I played like forever ago on my PSP was. It definitely was something like this

I love this game.

I still have this PSP Game and I can say it is amazing. But there is a bit of a snag: I know they included Vader which makes up for it but they didnt include Anakin

now i gotta find my psp with both these games. The only games I ever bought for it.

The character customization was top-tier

Is this the battle front were you can go to space as well during multiplayer matches? By that I mean during a multiplayer match grab a ship and go to space ?

3:46 I don't know what vehicle that is, but ther is zero chance that it's the A6 Juggernaut (turbo tank) from Revenge of the Sith. It's too small, has treads instead of wheels, and is just overall the completely wrong shape.

It defs looks different but just like the ATTE, I think the size difference is just a scaling issue of the game. The model is so inaccurate though, not sure what else it could be.

so that means Battlefront 2015 is based off Renegade Squadron and Battlefront 2 2017 is based off Battlefront and Battlefront 2?

I wish we got Battlefront 3 instead

Graphics where awful but I really remember playing this game on the PSP back in the day. Fantastic game.

Hopefully switch makes this and elite squad remake
