8 IMMUNOMODULATORY HERBS for VIRAL CYTOKINE STORMS - Ep. 150

In our earlier video on Medicinal Herbs for Viruses ( • MEDICINAL HERBS for VI... ), we did a quick overview of cytokine storms, which seem to have lethal effects as it relates to the latest virus. I wanted to take the time to review what herbs specifically can be used to suppress certain cytokines that are implicated in said cytokine storms. This is in no way an exhaustive list, but a targeted one that hopefully sheds light for you on your proactive health journey. Additionally, keep in mind that I am in no way providing personalized medical advice. You should always consult with a trusted medical practitioner to find out what may work best for you. However, we hope this video can be of service in some way.

You have given such a wealth of info to consider. I'll hafta watch your video again, with my notepad ready! I appreciate how well you relate these facts for individual consideration and everyone's benefit. I admire your focus on the healthful aspect of simple foods which I think draws people to become more mindful of what their needs might be. That alone entails what we shop and what we grow, so thanks so, so much. I learned a lot and look forward to more.

Very nice and professional presentation. Although it is not an herb, vitaminD3 is one of the most potent immune modulators. It boosts the immune system but also prevents immune overreaction. Taken with VitaminK2 is important. Sunlight in the summer but not any gotten from the sun in winter. Therefore oral supplements with K 2 are vital. Only source of dietary vitamin K 2 are fermented foods and grads fed meats and dairy

There's so much that is untapped by our conventional medicine here in the US. It's seems a bit complicated, but a few of the key herbs that were mentioned consistently in the different studies look promising. I'm not a tea drinker, but try to have a cup of green tea daily....and there is another one, a combo of ginger and licorice tea that I'll drink. The licorice taste is pretty strong and needs no honey to be added. I agree that a good, healthy, well rounded diet is the best to do. Very interesting.. :)

Skullcap, Nettles, and White Willow Bark were the only thing that helped our body and joint aches when we had coronavirus. I had been crying because it hurt so bad, then I made some capsules and within 20-25 minutes, the pain went away. I still felt like garbage, but I knew my immune system needed the upgrade. We stayed on those herbs around the clock until we felt better. I didn't get v-xxed because I understood it was a part of Nature I needed to experience. Not being afraid of it allowed my immune system to do its job. Fear shuts down our immune system because it's preparing to fight an external threat. Who knew the news could be as big of a threat as it is? The biochemical feedback people experience after watching news programming is actually quite scary. I'd be interested in seeing proper studies of large amounts of populations, whom don't watch the news, compared to populations that do. I imagine the more external catalysts of stress we experience, the more our body produces the chemicals, as if that were our own experience, even though it really wasn't in our physical environment.

Thank you for his podcast. This has been very informative and definitely a jumping off point for me to research further. Stephen Buchner also wrote a book on Lyme and I found it so helpful when I experience long term Lyme! In addition, my granddaughter is on the Spectrum. So, I am the recipient of very helpful information. Specifically, one has been on MCAS/Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. I have implemented many of the suggestions and shared with my medical professional since I have not been on an antibiotic since last summer. That’s monumental. Again, Thank You So Much for this information……I acknowledge you are NOT a doctor…..however, you have a curiosity that is all too often completely absent from the medical profession. I also appreciate inclusion of the contra indicators with each of the herbs. I love licorice in general, however, I have Glaucoma so I will steer clear of this one. I guess it’s just easier to ‘shut the patient up’ and write a script…..WITHOUT GETTING TO THE ROOT CAUSE! Definitely guarantees the profession will stay in business, and in many cases ‘in close association’ with the pharmaceutical companies. It was super interesting to hear about the poly herbs out of India. If I recollect, India was not as hard hit as the rest of the world with COVID. Professionals should have been ‘flocking’ to find out why!!! I look forward to future episodes. 😊

And also very interesting to me (talking about the example you gave with Echinacea ) because i have often thought about whether i should use it or not, at a specific time. Because i sometimes noticed that i got symptoms of a strong flue after using it! Then i start to really develop a flue of some kind. Whilst other times it really prevented me from getting a flue! It really matters when to take it. And i still am not quite sure yet. But at least i now know why it precisely works that way. Thank you! 🙂

I will try out the personnel at the pharmacy and ask them if I use Tumeric, will I suffer ill effects due to the meds which I take, because I have good days and awful. Why? My health weaknesses are managed with 3 meds per day. I am really more interested in healing than managing. Now I even get pounding headaches from my favorite blueberries and cranberries. 'See now what a fine mess' I've gotten myself into? It is all so complex, to have to heal one's self, but be maintained, in order to function during the search, by use of Doctor prescribed pharmaceuticals. It's good to hear these things repetitively from all KZread angles. There's no way to get so much info quickly, from one source. This is a bit advanced for me now, but some things rang a bell. Yes and the storms are sometimes caused, by what we eat or don't eat. I think that people should inform themselves about teas, before purchase. Life is so complicated.

  • @gardengatesopen

I think people are smarter than you're giving them credit. This channel is simply opening minds to information. Disclaimers are there for good reason, and people will not just overlook them, as you seem to be implying. The pendulum of relying only on prescription drugs is finally swinging back into the calming center for the masses. The MORE information we each have, is truly the best way to make a well rounded, informed decision. This channel is only touching the tip of the iceberg of homeopathy, a practice which has been around since the beginning of human existence. The practise of using only RX drugs has many, many, more adverse side effects, even when using the drugs as prescribed, vs. using foods for some of the same purposes. The practice of integrating both of these worlds is what will eventually make the medical community a stronger, and more productive entity of healing, if only the synthetic side would acquiesce into doing so. Really, there's nothing to fear here. Information is the key to good health.

Right, because when people hire lawyers the disclaimers go by the wayside. People think that they can cover themselves with disclaimers but it's not foolproof in a court of law, just like when employers ask employees to sign various types of statements. When push comes to shove the statements are thrown out the window.

For millions of people all over the world, Covid has been a life or death situation - even with very advanced medicine. Intelligent or not, when there is a cytokine storm in one’s body, this is a very, very serious situation… that should not be taken lightly; in most cases, the attending physician, has one chance to get it right and stop the patient’s immune system from attacking his or her body. I do not think it is responsible - even with the disclaimers and all - to encourage homeopathic options with such a life-or-death situation. Especially, when the channel’s ownership, is shared with two other individuals, who most likely, do not want the legal or financial risk involved here. I’d hate to see this channel go up in smoke.

There is a new varient in Dragon Land that is hittng people hardest who have poor dental/ oral health. Seems it starts in the mouth then gets in the bloodstream like a sublingwal medication where it goes directly into the bloodstream then the heart pumps it into the lungs where it damages the tiny capillaries interfering with oxygen transfer causing pneumonia and death. So what can be done to improve oral health? I chew Mentos gum after meals because the artificial sweetener xylene kills the bad bacteria that causes tooth decay and gum disease. Then I swish and spit a mouthwash that contains .07% chlorpyrinene Clorid twice a day. It kills viruses. I use the Crest brand but there are several others that contain the same ingredient. The idea is to keep the viral load in the mouth as low as possible. I am getting my teeth cleaned next week. What else can done?
