Nobody is “made for the office.” Walang batang nangarap na umupo sa desk from 8-5, it’s really boring and uncomfortable especially for the first time. Walang spark na kailangan. Walang magic. 99% of jobs we will all just have to tolerate, hindi siya kailangan mahalin or hindi siya kailangan exciting. Most of the time, we just have to pay the bills and do something we can tolerate.

Lahat naman ata ng work need mag tiis, ako nga grab driver 14-16akong nagbabyahe yung 1-2hours ay kain yosi break at cr so need talaga mag tiis imagine 14 hours nakaupo at i endure ang stress sa traffic at mga behavior ng ibang driver

CK you're still young and there's a plenty of room to discover and experience. This podcast is valid and was really an eye-opener I would say. If desk-job isn't fine I think that's alright sabi nga kung saan yung passion mo at saan ka masaya as long you're growing. This is just my takeaway for this podcast.

The 9-5 is how normal Filipinos live. Wake up at 6 or earlier, uwi ng 5 tiis sa traffic. You made the right choice!

I understand where CK is coming from. Of course, not all of us have the luxury to have passion as a job such as being a freelancer, content creator or even a social media influencer. If you have the opportunity, then by all means.

Iba talaga mindset at work ethic ni Mikee. Truly makes sense. CK just keeping it real to herself which is very fine. Just put up content after content, magbubunga din yan! Happiness over everything. ☮️

To be honest you can do both with the proper mindset and time management. At 22 yes you are brave and risky but at a certain age you will reach a point that you would prefer a secure job but of course it will still depend on the person. I understand were you are coming from CK because you are already earning from content creation however you should have considered your job security you could have hired people to do your editing and also hire people to assist you in creating content In that way you have the best of both worlds. For me the only time that you would quit your job is if only I have an established name in the industry and if I am financially stable. The nagbubunga nga is a good sign however please note that it's not permanent pwede yan magbunga ngayon pero hindi natin sure kung biglang bukas may bagyo. Kaya widen your options and sources of income this is coming from a businessman who worked at corporate to established a business and now nag retire na ko kasi stable na ung business ko at the same time and very financially stable. You can say that money cant buy happiness or its not about the money. However if you have the money you would instantly have more power to influence / help other people and that's the reality. Soo happy to see you guys upload a new episode again I have been watching every episode of tbh this past week now. i almost memorized all of the content in everyepisode just glad to see you guys upload again. looking forward for the next episodes.

To be brutally honest. Not all companies will tell you the same na okay lang for you to leave. Maybe factor lang din nga kilala mo yung owner ng company thats why easier ang exit? Pero someof the companies put bad record on you. Main reason is looking for right reople is harder than keeping current talents. More ang investments on acquiring new talents. But good job tho! For being real and being brave 💙

Legit yung sinabi mo tito mikee, as a student na into sa marketing, supply chain, economic thing. Isa sa modern indicator ng isang good business, at least marketing part of it yung may mga content creator na napunta na gagawa ng content sa business mo. Pwedeng ita-try nila yung product, interview, pop-up giving advice video galing sayo. It's free advertisement sa part ng businessman or businesswoman. Makakamalay nalang may mga nadayo pa from other places dahil napanuod sa tiktok, reels or kung saan man.

We create our own destiny and path in life. Take the risk and learn from it or not take any risk and not learn anything at all. Such an eye opener ✨

And Mikee, ang mature, good job tho 🙌 May mali ba sa office work? Wala. May mali ba sa freelancing? Wala. We all have our choices which are based on our core values, experiences, beliefs. If you value security, goods sa office. If you value fun, goods sa other work set-up. I do hope that the end goal of all this hustle and bustle is freedom (in all aspect) ☺

Don't compare salary or earnings to any Sales Role. Earning and motivation in Sales depends on your hardwork, hustle and grit. Entry level sales role now, look at them after 5-10 years.

there are lots of content creators nowadays who are also business owners. cong and viy for example kaya wa mawalan ng pag-asa idol as long as positive ang relationship ng content nyo sa business nyo. rooting for you success!

Finally!! I felt I found someone speaking on my behalf. Super same tayo CK, I resigned 2 days after I started my office work. For me it's frustrating working 8am-5pm, sobrang bagal ng oras plus super nakakapagod ang traffic. Nakakaiyak b'coz I am a fresh grad there are lots of expectations at andaming pressure sa paligid. I Also felt napagiiwanan nako ng mga ka batchmates ko, but suddenly I realized I am the one who is responsible for what I wanted to do and my happiness. Hoping for a better future, Padayon!!

TBH, it depends sa kung sino nag-iinfluence sayo. Like in case of CK, ang BF niya is a content creator and work from home. Being an office girl/boy is not the trend sa era na to during the pandemic, mas gusto ng mga younger generations ngayon is WFH na lang which is hindi para sa lahat. Yung itch na yon to WFH is dedepende sa mga nakapaligid sayo. Kung si Mikee naging office boy or not a content creator, I doubt mag-stick si CK WFH set-up at content creator.

Ganun din sa company, mas masipag ka mas magaling ka. May bonus ka may salary increase may promotion.

Ito yung sinasabi ni Slater sa isa nilang podcast na problema sa mga Gen Z, naghahanap ng spark sa work kasi sa una mga first 2 years wala namang ganon. Actually ito yung maganda pag may mas mature kang partner sasabihin na nya sayo na nagaaksaya ka lang ng panahon pero di pa rin mo yun papakinggan hanggat di mo pa napapabelieve sarili mo na nagaaksaya ka talaga ng panahon hehehe I bet kating kati sabihin ni M yung line na “sabi na sayo eh” heheheh buti wala pa 2 years nasunod mo na passion mo ako nagaksaya pa ako ng 6 years hehehe😂 kaya relate!

I can feel you, CK. Ive been working for 7 years then finally last Feb 28, last working day ko na. A month before I inform my manager about it, my heart at head aches for real. Hindi ako sanay na walang work and just like you na nasanay sa regular salary. I have bills to pay, i have 2 toddlers o diba paano? (May asawa ako but hindi ako sanay na sya lang ang gumagastos). For now stay-at-home mom ako and paminsan minsan if hindi masyadong busy, nag-aaccomodate ako ng mga orders because im a home baker. Side hustle ko since 2020 pandemic. (Im still thinking if going back to work maybe nxt year tho 😅)
