fuck me thank you mate. needed to order a load of skirting & architrave. started at £707 with selco and ended up at £276 with a local merchant! best advice i have ever been given, i was a bit skeptical in the beginning but you talk 100% truth. Does this apply for literally anything? or do you need a decent sized order? or does it work better on certain products i.e timber?

Amazing bro, thats a great saving! Glad you found it helpful. Literally anything, some places have better than others. Example, some merchants I go to for timber. Others for say plumbing supplies. I do it on everything, no matter the order size! Thanks for watching!
People with money are always looking for a better deal, and that includes if they owe money as well.
This is really interesting. I just watched A&E's latest vid. They talk about always going out to tender but not haggling after you've had the quote. Just go with the best price. It also proves that suppliers have massively increased their profit margins during the boom/supply problems from the beginning of the pandemic and still haven't reduced them even though everything is crashing. Great vid!

Thanks for watching mate! Thats why alot of companies sold, profit margins went made!!
Keep up the good work bro! just make sure your guy doesn’t give you the best price on your first order to build trust and then increase his margin on subsequent orders 😉
thanks for watching!
Great content as always. Are you still working your city office job?
That Wii music didn’t go unnoticed, some serious memories there hahahaha
How were you able to build without planning permission?
How do you know that you're getting the best quality timber though?

Spicy bridge finance rates ahahaha
Two RSJ's would have been cheaper.
What if I'm a woman? 😭Are they gonna believe me if I say I have loads of building projects?

I was just thinking the same thing, especially as my potential building renovation project is in France. I am fluent but even so!

I had exactly the same thought… I’m wondering if they’d be more likely to give my husband better rates 🤔
