When ur contested its kind of like a race and kind of like a lottery. You can roll first for ur comp, but if you miss then your opponent can roll with more gold and hit. You can also scout and try to see if someone is looking to play your comp. If they are you can consider taking the race (rolling first with more gold), changing to a different comp that uses your items, wait for them to roll and hit or miss and then roll.

Exactly. Ghostly is extremely frontline reliant. Itemize multiple tanks. You only need one carry itemized. Ghostly needs strong frontline to get all of your specters out, then the specters do all of the damage. 6 ghostly each specter gives 20% damage boost, each ghostly unit can send 2 specter, that's 6*2*20 = 240% bonus damage taken for a unit with all specters on it. This is an absurd damage multiplier, but only on a single target. Having multiple carries itemized does basically nothing because after you get your specters out your main carry should always be basically one-tapping the specter'd unit, transferring the specters to the next target, onetapping them, repeat until the board is wiped. This is also why Morg isn't usually the best carry option and people usually play Senna, Kaisa, Syndra, Ashe carries with ghostly. Tankiness and single target dps are the only things you need.
