I rarely use crouch nowadays unless I’m using an Ares/Odin or focused on watching a specific spot on the map. But god does it REALLY annoy me when so many people in deathmatch crouch and spray. It also tricks my newbie brain that the head is no longer up there.

Its great to crouch after being tagged since you cant really strafe during this after shot slowness anyways

Bronze 2 here. I never tried this myself as I rarely crouch in my gunfights but it does sound like a good idea. My enemies tend to spray crouch which makes me miss my shots due to me trying to aim head level all the time. And I notice that when I tap them once they crouch automatically then.. kill me

Yes I can actually land shots more effectively while crouching sure it slows you down but you can Atleast kill someone faster and win gun fight.

Get a friends or party. Stack trio. If you dont have friends, send a friend request to your enemy mvp and your teammate mvp whenever you play. Ask if you can push with them. I do this most of the time and I finally passed the hardstuck plat 2 to almost ascendant

I have pretty good game sense but I suck at everything else, ive finally gotten out of iron one after like my entire time playing this game, and im about to derank :( I watch these vids, i understand them, I just never can use them in games because I get killed so fast.

But when som people just come to ruin the competitive match eversince i log in i get on or two person trying to covince mei that i am toxic but they are not good enough or very bad with there agent or just not trying that much in competitive and i have no friends so i have to pick solo competitive match

look am i the only one but in low elo when ppl play clove they just have to say "they are here' instead of "she is here"

I was gonna pass off the advice, and just try to skim as usual, cause I felt it would be another vid from a player who doesn’t know what it’s like to actually suck, but when I heard you climbed your way out of iron I tuned way more in as it meant you had actual experience

im a player moved from cs, the biggest lesson i learned in this game must be do not crouch spray

Especially in low ranks... I'm Bronze/Silver and every other game has a guy that is 22/0 on the first 6-7 rounds... And they want us to believe he's Silver... Yeah... Cause Silver players are so famous for their consistent brilliance...🤣

Just play deathmatch and take your time before u shoot your first bullet and be disciplined in your comp matches. I know at start u will have more death than kills but be patient you will soon see the results.

Aim trainers wont fix impatience. What will fix it is queuing deathmatch and using only a guardian or a sheriff.

i feel that. one of my rank games, we were on breeze and making a comeback from 2-10 to 11-11. in a 2v2, my teammate decided to go for a knife kill and baited me. i died and we lost the round. another one just unlocked cypher and instalocked him on split. said that he will look up tik toks and we will be fine...... i hate playing comp XD

​@@Exsavitatoror if you are a good sniper, use Chamber. Thats what I did. People in bronze/iron are dumb. They will walk into your crosshair over and over.

First off, find a duo who is: Similar skill level, willing to improve, and has a good mindset. Second off: Ignore people who force you to play a certain agent. Play what suits you, and try to improve at that specific agent. Lastly, practice your crosshair placement. How to get good crosshair placement? You can actually check it mid round. Walk forward, and see if the crosshair seems to move up or down relative to an object you are looking at. If it does not move, then you are at head level. You can also adjust it off of your teammates' head. You will climb up. I believe in you.

Crouching is often a really bad move since it makes them so stationary. If enemies are consistently crouching versus you, try to tap one bullet, and then immediately strafe before firing off a burst. They'll generally just crouch spray at the location of your first shot and miss, allowing you to land the easy headshot shot afterwards.

I think the crouching advice is terrible for new players. At lower elos everyone knows how to aim head level but they don't have the micro movement to adjust to the head of someone that just crouched in front of them. Besides you usually see pros doing a wide peak strafe to position the crosshair on opponent into a crouch + clicking heads to throw off opponents crosshair placement. Even if there are 2 enemies you could still do that then strafe after killing the first enemy and repeat the process.
