Thanks for the video. There is only one Kaam, it is unfulfilled sexual desire(s). In the video you are explaining how kaam is triggered. That what takes place between a husband and wife is not considered as kaam as it is Dharmic (Righteous) according to Gurmat. As quoted in the video Gurbani states He Kaamang, nark bisraamang bahu joni bhramaavneh O sexual desire, you lead mortals to hell; you make them wander in re-incarnation coming back in the form of countless species Chit harnang, trai lok gamanang, jap tap seel bidharneh You cheat the consciousness, pervading the three worlds, you destroy meditation, penance and virtue Alap sukh avit chanchal ooch neech smaavaneh But you give only shallow pleasure, while you make the mortals weak and unsteady, you pervade the high and the low Tav bhay bemunchit saadh sangam, aut naanak naarayaneh Your fear is dispelled in the Sadh Sangat (Holy congregation) through the protection and support of the Lord So Guru Ji tells us the results of becoming consumed by Kaam but also gives us the antidote on how to escape the influence of Kaam, and that is about going to the sangat (holy congregation). People don't understand the purpose of going to the Gurdwara and being amongst the sangat, this is only one example of how it helps to attend places where the Sangat is, whether it is a Gurdwara or other meeting place.

This 8 steps is also the natural evolution of two people comming together. This speaker goes on here too much about about how you maybe convincing yourself that you are not acting in lustful ways, but only you know that. There is a leaning towards a desensitising here. These 8 steps are noting wrong if you are following the path of lovers or involving yourself into a commitment. The other thng is who created these 8 steps. Is this his own interpretation or is taken directly out a passage of Sri Guru Granth Sahib.

It semmed that our mind was being read by guru through this video .🙏🏻

A desire or desires on their own is not a sin, but rather what you desire. If you desire psyical encounters simply based on desire then it can be questionable in the eyes of God, but than there is desires of doing selfless service etc...Its what you want that is the issue not desire itself. For too long we have associated "Kaam" as a sin as it means sex. Sex as a practice is deeply misunderstood by many. The 8 steps discussed in this video in my option are not sinful at all. Rather what is questionable is how they are used because these 8 steps are common practice between people who seek a partner & most often you see examples of these steps as advice given by relationship counciling or by relationship experts. You Tube is loaded with videos on these subjects. In essence I think having awareness of these steps is mind control so what is in the mind does not manifeste itself into a reality.

Nonsense absolute nonsense. By reading your comment you’ve never been in love before. It’s just the same dogma dialogue you hear all the time. Just dry preaching. If you think that the whole point people have partners before marriage is because of lust and lust alone you are not living in reality and you have been spending too much time in a Punjabi conservative society that regards everything as sin. How people build their lives varies from place to place & in certain cultures people do cohabit prior to getting married. How do you know that people in love marriage are bombarded with lustful thoughts only. Do you honestly think that people who have lovers that all they think of each other is lustful thoughts. Your sentence contradicts your argument. Take it from me as I’ve been in love before & the last thing you do is lust just and lust alone.

People watching this video must be very, very careful they don’t take it the wrong way. The things spoken of are in relation to EXTREMES. The very worst thing you can do is shame someone for their sexuality, because you then repress their desires which can manifest as some very dangerous traits. In psychology, this is known as the shadow of the subconscious mind and when it is repressed and forced down as some “bad” thing, it is then able to take root and display itself in behaviours like aggression, rage, deceit, lies, addiction, manipulation, cheating. In some cases it can create personality disorders, self sabotage, self loathing, health problems, the list goes on. Sexuality, inherently, is NOT a bad thing. The energetic connection between masculine and feminine energy through the act of sex is literally the source of creation. It is a connection to the divine, it is sacred and to be respected. Adults looking at children and feeling sexual desires towards them is EXTREME. Impulsive actions towards the opposite or same sex in the form of violence, rape, murder or abuse, is EXTREME. Cheating on your partner because you were overcome by physical desires and a “need” is EXTREME. Things can build up to an extreme and explode like a bomb when they are pushed down into the darkest parts of ourselves, ignored and not acknowledged. This is the danger of repressing and shaming the basic right of freedom to express oneself. These extremes do not exist in love between two people. Like mentioned in the video, it is okay to have these desires for the person you are committed to as long as they don’t go to EXTREMES but when you love someone, the thought of doing anything to hurt them is as impossible as it would be to hurt the Guru. There should always be control to not let innocent desires run wild in ways which create negativity or become toxic to your life and block your connection to God. But you should also enjoy all aspects of being with the person you love, because that is also a connection to God. Love is the energy of God. Intimacy and desires for your spouse when in a shared, loving, safe and balanced relationship/marriage are very beautiful experiences that should be held as sacred gifts from God, blessed on you for living in the open hearted energy of high vibrational love, where the lower vibrational extremes of lust can not reach you 🙏🏻🤍

Okay but answer me this: Why did GOD make men more lustful than women? I never understood this and have not ever had a good answer. Why did GOD make males extremely lustful and not women. If GOD wants us to only have sex within marriage why would he make MEN extremely lustful but not women? Please answer my question.

This is a cultural thing. Men and women scientifically speaking (on average) have the same amount of lust. Women sre just afraid to express it because of judgement from society. Men get away with it easily🙃

@@Nehagrows Please provide the evidence for this scientific theory. It is not a cultural thing. Biologically males have twice as much testosterone than women. Women have more of the Oxytocin hormone. Genders have been wired differently by nature.
