This is in the cooler months which is the best time to hike . Go in spring . Sumner is too hot and everything looks dry . Beautiful video thank you .

It does have some beautiful nature but this is filmed in the cooler months when everything is green . In summer it becomes quite dry . Sadly most of the coastline is heavily commercialised for tourism and the beaches are fabricated . Troodos mountains , Paphos forest and Akamas Peninsula are the best scenic places . Forget the beaches full of drunken backpackers . You have shown us the best of Cyprus and thank you !

Absolutely brilliant!! Really enjoyed watching..have done most of these trails but watching your incredible video has shown a whole new light!! Ps Pendadaktylos, I have done recently and there is an easier way to get there, combining it with the bellapais abbey, approximately 16km trail

Really great list. Our favorite hike was the seaside hike by Aphrodite's Baths. Really love the footage and chill voiceovers. Our first Cyprus vlog just came out today. Hey Benjamin, thanks for your feedback. The thumbnail shows the Buffavento Castle trail viewpoint, from which you see the peaks of the Kyrenia Mountain range. It is in the occupied Northern part of Cyprus.

Many thanks! 🙏 The Southern Greek part is safe for sure. I stayed there in different locations, close to the trailheads. About the occupied North - to be honest, I don’t know. I was there for one day only. I didn’t have any unsafe feelings but I also didn’t sleep overnight there. Enjoy your trip!

As an EU citizen is it easyy to cross borders between cyprus? i don't actually understand the political whatever there. Can i just go from the south to the east with a rental car? cheers !

Yes, I had no problems crossing the border. As mentioned in the video, a visa has to be bought on the border, that's all. And just in case you may ask your rental car company if they are Ok with entering the North.

There's no Turkish side, its illegally occupied territory by the Turkish military
