Fans use electricity, anything that uses electricity creates friction which creates heat, fans heat the air. Please do some research before you spread false information.

I've never experienced the dyson fan but I mean fans without coolant blow air, so none of these would be like actual a/c. I think they are trying to show all the fan features and the power of the breeze💙

I paid 5 years ago £4000 . To have four 18000 BTU wall AC units fitted with 4 outside compressors. Mitsubishi units. No way can these stupid little gadgets compete with a real AC system .

Ruined the whole review when you said the Dyson cools like an ac. There's a video of a $15 wallmart fan which provides better cooling than the Dyson LOL

Haven’t found any wind chill chart lower than 5 mph . But there is feeling of comfort with a slight air movement anyway .

I have the Honeywell one - it doesn’t cool a room at all, just circulates the hot air

The Honeywell like the Vornafo are air circulators. You aim it at the ceiling or wall.

Imagine it like a CPU fan, it blows air over the CPU, and then out of the casing of the PC or laptop, basically it needs to exit somewhere. If you are in an enclosed space with little or poor ventilation (Like me) its not gonna work well unless its pointed right at you. So what happens is the air flows around the room, the air takes heat off of objects, (and that includes you) as it passes. If its not passing fast enough, it won't do shit, and if its not going anywhere (I.E. a ventilation duct or a window) it also won't do shit. Even an open door helps. I recommend getting bug netting on your favorite window and trying to leave it open when you need to cool, place the fan relatively near the window. When the air conditioning turns on, close the window and move the fan closer to the air-in vent. you especially need to close the window if the air is humid, as it can cause damage for high humidity air to pass through the air conditioning unit.

I was thinking the same thing.

Honeywell is garbage, I I’ve bought quite a few due to their “good name” and all the larger floor models have crapped out within a couple of years... they start squealing at night when I’m trying to sleep then stop turning altogether which can also be scary because they could overheat in this state and start a fire

Honeywell is one of the worst brands. Same experience. Bought one and stopped working after a year and a half. Got a second one, lasted less than a year. Don’t believe the hype.

Anything dyson just looks cool. I have a vacuum and it dies quickly. I know people who have the fan and they say it’s not that good. People display them upfront because it has modern aesthetic commercial appeal. Dreo fans are supposedly good. But I have a vornado and it does well. Just harder to clean in the slats.

I think it’s interesting that Dyson is claimed to be the most reliable and long lasting but their warranty is only 2 years. Companies who truly stand by their products like Vitamix, offer 5 year warranties 🤔 Don’t get me wrong, I love Dyson products- I’m on my third Dydon cordless vacuum (had the V8, V10, and now V11). I’ve also had their bladeless heater/fan combo in 2017 which did start having issues 🙁 Thankfully, it was purchased from Bed Bath & beyond who had an amazing return policy and the took it back for a refund. So I loved that fan/heater combo’s function & design, but am reluctant to buy another combo product like that again from them.

I DONT LIKE MY DYSON CORDLESS VAC. I DONT USE IT NOW. I USED IT ABOUT HALF A DOZEN TIMES AND PUSHED IT ASIDE. IT KEPT ON BLOCKING UP. SOMEONE CAME OUT HERE WHO SOLD ME THE VAC AND UNBLOCKED IT FOR ME AND IT BLOCKED UP SOON AFTER THEY FIXED IT. IM ELDERLY SO I DONT WANT TO BE UNBLOCKING A VAC ALL THE TIME. I ENDED UP BUYING ANOTHER VAC WITH A CORD AND I HAD TO CLEAN OUT THE FILTER ONCE AND NOW ITS GOING GOOD. I HOPE IT STAYS GOOD. I CANT REMEMBER WHAT MODEL THE DYSON CORDLESS VAC IS. ITS PUT AWAY BUT IF MY MEMORY IS CORRECT I THINK IT HAD THE NUMBER 15 IN IT. IT WAS VERY EXPENSIVE, 1.500 DOL.LARS WHEN I BOUGHT IT. WASTE OF MONEY.

I wonder how much Dyson paid for the Ad. Considering the AM07 is out preformed by a $15 basic fan they kinda killed their credibility.

There isn't one.Their are air coolers you put water in ( cold out of the fridge ) but they are really Humidifiers. Once the water loses its cold temp they are useless .

If this video wasn't essentially just a paid advertisement, I can't see how it would be possible to ignore Dreo. Miles above the Lasko tower you showed, and barely more expensive.

I watch this video and said to myself these are not fans they cheap and made break right away. Fans from the 70s 80s and early 90s were real well good air pushing fans not these plastic toys.
