A little bad luck for Marco with the breaks, but DAMN Sky is such a great all around player, he was just free wheeling at the end there lol.

The rules of this 8 ball match suck much of the luck out of the game and make it very interesting.

Totally agree and I am a fan of both announcers. But this was wayyyy too damn much talking and speculating on what the players were going to do. Just way too much. Almost made me want to turn the volume down - and, again, I really like both of these guys. Just about a third less talk. Jesus.

These announcers should speak less about their speculations on play. Less is best. Had to watch with no volume. Chatty ruins the game.

@SJ Greer stop it with the bullshit little guy. Seriously? No one is saying that Jones isn't smart. But we are saying there is FAR too much of the talk - especially from Jones. The other guy, who is very knowledgeable, has to fight to get a word in!!! And by the way, your comment was made to Student of Crypto - but it also could have been made to me. And I guarantee I can run plenty more than three balls. Just because a guy is really knowledgeable doesn't mean he has to literally talk for 98% OF THE MATCH!

I am a big fan of Jeremy Jones and the other guy (sorry I forgot his name) but there was wayyyyyyyyy too much talking in this match. Just wayyyyy too much. One guy needs to be the play by play. The other needs to be the analyst. I actually think Jeremy loves to hear himself talk. Less is more Jeremy.

Wholeheartedly agree. I love JJ but he went overboard this match. Steamrolled, talked over, and interrupted George Teyechea (who's knowledgeable but has only tolerable commentary imo, makes a lot of mistakes) most of the match and each time George finally stops trying to talk, JJ throws in a "right George?" Lmao. JJ is the best commentator to listen to for tips and playcalling (behind Earl) but he does have a tone that sounds like he's chastising a child.

@@sintar02 I actually like George (thanks for reminding me of his name) as the play by play guy and I really like JJ. But as I said - and you elaborated on - JJ was sorta out of control. He almost seemed like he was in a bad mood and wanted to contradict almost everything George said. Anyway, JJ and Earl are terrific but I think both overdo it at times. I am a huge Earl fan and I love his commentary. But Earl needs to NOT give us, ON EVERY SINGLE SHOT, HOW THE SHOT SHOULD BE PLAYED. I like a lot of that, but sometimes less is more. On a side note- I am on a mission to promote this great game of pool ( all billiard games) and will soon have a website that helps do this. But for the time being (actually do it all of the time), spread the word on this great game to everyone - especially the young crowd. Get your friends and family and workmates to a pool table and have a good time with them. We need more people, especially young people, to get interest in pool.

Well, the second commentator didn't have much to contribute except being a mumbling yes-man so JJ went full throttle on his analysis :)
