We stayed at that KOA 12mos ago. It is small. We also stayed at Palmer Gulch to see Rushmore and the Buffalo Roundup, Sept 23-26, 2020. The smallest and biggest KOA, great trivia we can now brag about. I didn't know the the Pierce KOA was in fact the smallest. I went to the Seal museum, but my wife didn't, too much testosterone, hah! We'll have to return next year and do the kayaking.

I’ve been here 27 years out of my 30 years of life. 3 I lived in Tampa…which btw is amazing! Now it’s overcrowded but St. Pete is nice. It all depends what part of Fort Pierce you live in. Downtown area is pretty much safe. There are drugs and crime everywhere but compared to Naples, Sarasota, and other southwest Florida towns/cities I can see why you’d be afraid of the population of Fort Pierce criminals

@@dornettlowe9766 All of Fort Pierce is rather country compared to Dade County. Okeechobee and Jenkins road intersect and you have a WaWa, Walgreens, Home Depot, Chik-fil-a, and Starbucks right there. Besides downtown Fort Pierce it is a pretty nice area to live in. Once they finish Avalon Crossing it probably will be a little congested though. I'm a Fort Pierce native. In the past 10 years it has definetly grown and it only growing more. But yeah we didn't really have much here in the 90s and early 2000s. Port Saint Lucie in growing as well (that's the city just south of us). I believe they were in the top 60 cities in the country to move to. But that area is getting way to crowded.
