Another thing I learned from the current Antwerp major regarding decoys is to use them to clear some dorky spots, such as tossing one behind sandbags on A-ramp on vertigo. If your team mates are silent you can hear the decoy bouncing on a CT. OP in some situations!

The first time I played there I was tilted so hard I don't want to play that map again

i once tried to fake flash with a decoy granade and tricked myself instead of the enemy and flicked away... (and it cost me a round lol)

Imo the decoy is underrated, there are tons more usage for it than your examples. You should do a whole video about it. Even on the stockholm major, it was used by s1mple on d2 awping middle as a fake shot to bait ct to peek him.

another thing about aiming for the body, especially with the AK is you can use recoil to your advantage as well. itll naturally climb. so if ur a pleb who takes a few bullets to line up. you can normally clip them in the head on the 4 or 5 bullet by accident.

You can use a decoy grenade to know if players are in that spot, if you're lucky and hit a player with a decoy grenade, you will hear the enemy getting hit by the decoy grenade and you'll know where he is. This is really hard to do, but you can do this while you are behind a smoke and you can just throw a decoy grenade and hope to hit someone and get info or shoot them through the smoke.

The fake flash with a decoy on Vertigo mid is such a good first and second round strat when rushing with SMG/MAG7.

Same here, Mirage(aka dust3) is a good place to begin as a ct

Aiming at the upper chest makes also sense as the most guns pull up, so your 2 or 3 bullet may hit the head anyway.

for one all of these are extremely obvious but also the "aim at the chest" one is wrong, you do more damage to the stomach than you do the chest, so you either aim for heads, stomach, and sometimes their legs if you have a low armour pen weapon like a glock on pistol rounds and you cant hit the head shoot their legs not their chest to do more damage

QOTD: Playing CT on Train to me feels very simple. 2 CT's on B site and 3 on A. If Played correctly this will win almost any round on CT.

More advanced tips maybe next, this kinda besic high elo knowledge.

it works but you cant buy 2 smokes or 2 molotovs or 2 he. But you can buy more than 4 nades per round.

The best decoy granade use I've seen is in afterplant where you drop your decoy at the bomb and as soon as the retake is done, the decoy blasts off and kills the defuser with a remaining 10-12 health. 400IQ play.
