The main problem for the actors like Aayushman and Rajkumar Rao is the advent of OTTs. They mainly prefer to work in content driven movies over massy ones. The audience is aware that even if they don't go to watch their movies in theatres, the movies will be available in the OTTs within 2-3 weeks of the release dates.

I guess he spent a lot of time, effort and money into making LSC failure of which had a great impact on him.. Also, for some reason I feel that time of Aamir is gone. Unlike SRK or Salman, Aamir never really had a fan base and his movies purely works on his goodwill nd positive word of mouth. The failure of his last two movies has also impacted his goodwill.

He did mention that he was not keeping well even before LSC happened, and one of the reasons was second failed marriage. Also he has been targeted communally off late! And speaking of his fan base, well before #Pathaan it was #Dangal(which was a brilliant film and was also a commercially/critically successful) which was India's biggest overseas grosser which was released way back in 2016. I guess his strategy is slightly different from what Salman and SRK do, but you can't say he lacks support from his fanbase as the other two.

There're several flaws which needs to be pointed out here in this film. Just bcz the hero is amir khan doesn't necessarily mean it's good/masterpiece! The only best thing of this film is the songs and technical aspects. That's it!

Arjun Kapoor also deserves a big hit. It's high time now, here people will keep on underestimating him as an actor. I mean he actually performanced good in Ishaqzaade, Aurangzeb, 2 States, Gunday, Ki & Ka, Half Girlfriend, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and Bhoot Police. In the end people just abuse him a lot. He is better actor than nowadays actors.
