These aquariums are so much less stocked than any aquariums I’ve ever seen - I love it! It makes it much more mystical and ocean-like.

I’ve been going to Burgers zoo since I was a little girl and the aquarium part has always been my favorite. My mother used to work at burgers zoo and she was also given a private tour of the aquarium. So many fond memories of going to this zoo ❤️🇳🇱

Burgers Zoo is situated in the north of Arnhem, and I work at their neighbour's place, called Openlucht Museum (Open air museum). We have buildings like farms and houses from the past ages of The Netherlands. I don't manage fish there, but I do handle sheep, goats, cows, horses, pigs and chickens. If you are visiting Burgers Zoo, maybe you want to visit the Openlucht Museum too... ;)

5:27 I can already tell you that you will only see how BAD those LEDs are when you switch all the halides for them. For now you are having your corals struggling slowly using those LED spots, but the halides are so great that they can still maintain the qualities in results. So many public aquariums have tried LEDs and went back to halides. If you don't know the differences in results you will be ok with LEDs, but when you know and see the difference in results, and really care about those corals, you will never be comfortable and will have to get those halides back over that tank! It's a matter of physics and biochemistry too! By the way... you don't upgrade going from halides to LEDs, you downgrade in light quality! The worse thing using LEDs is that we can actually have the illusion of the results because of the LEDs abilities of reflection of their colors in the way no other light can. Reflection isn't actual pigments, but just masking what out vision can capture. Great tank and amazing video. Thanks for sharing!

If you look at the colour of these aquarium reefs, compared to that of wild ones...it's really quite worrying It really highlights how badly wild reefs are struggling; almost non of them have this much vibrancy. They're mostly bleached and fading
