Reading thru these comments. How many of u commentors actually have teens & boys for that matter? Yeah we were all teens - we had our mishaps with our parents & they probably gave it to us on time. But that is not so easy in today's world. Watching that scene with Esti - is close to home for me - my son just turned 17. It's not easy when reprimanding him. There is a lot more going on with teens of today. No, I'm not justifying disobedience & rudeness - I don't stand for that. But when u do have ur own teen that u need to reprimand - then let's chat. This has me questioning my days. Today is monday right? Am I loosing my mind?!?

This womens pole dancing wine drinking club is an imitation from reality shows like "housewives" or sex and the city galpals crap. Also Esti threw all logic out the window. I guess true colors come out when you are in a crisis. Poor Rickus. I really feel for him. He deserves better. Marko and Esti should just get back together because they fit. Esti lied about Tommys desth because she blamed herself for his motorcycle accident since she wrote him telling him she is leaving him. So she couldnt tell her son she felt it was her fault that he died. And this crazy grandma should just back the heck away. She has no right showing up like that just like she had no right telling pregnant teenage Esti to leave her son. What a piece of work. My favorite actors atm are Ivy and her husband. I love that storyline the most because matrone helped them and now they are in a position to help and support her. I love Ivy's character. So sincere.

Connie, how's that pregnancy going? Honestly, this squad of 4 women is so annoying. It's as if the Writer's didn't know what to do with their characters - so here they r - lumped together - to irritate us. Really, everytime they r together - they r drinking wine! Do their joints not pain from all that sulphur?Bonita, u got over Daniel's death way to fast, I'm not saying u should be crying & mourning everyday - but the way u r going on. I've have friends & relatives who r still mourning their children - more then 1 year later & over. Even I still mourn their losses!! Its so unrealistic for a mother who lost a child like 2 months ago! Guess that's what makes this a fantasy somewhat! U don't even mention Justin anymore - did he get lost in Namibia? Y couldn't the Writer's concentrate more on Marvin's story - we still don't know his secret! What's happening with the twins? Or even Erica for that matter. Tania James - Exactly ! "7de Laan" is turning out to be a weird and distorted shadow of how it started 20 years ago. What a sorry state : long bouts of senseless, heavy drinking (Alexa is a very bad example considering she's a doctor), continuous bed hopping, lying and more lying and changes in personalities makes me wonder if this isn't some sort of grotesque burlesque we are now watching - the original "family entertainment" idea has long gone. The pole-dancing sub-plot of the awesome foursome was embarrassing (was it meant to be funny?) while the boys practiced and practiced netball but we never saw them play the game. Why, what happened ? Is 7de Laan going the path of Isidingo ?

Also read these comments & when they get back to studio - they improve in every aspect. I hope Marko en Esti get to be together again. Clearly he is a better fit for Esti and defnitely a pa figure for Thomas. Rickus is still too juvenile. I just hope this doesn't drag on, Esti must calmly talk to Thomas when he is calm and receptive to her. Explain wverything to him. He needs to know that that heks of a grandma was putting his mom through hell the past few days counting down to the 24th as well as years ago. I mean really she kept Esti away from her dying love. Esti's presence could have made him fight and survive. Thomas will understand many things. He already realised his mum's reaction to the motorbike blow up. One of the things that annoy me in life is a child who, after finding out a hidden detail from their parent, throw out the respect and discipline they have out of the window.
