Showing what you can do with a lens and great examples of the focal length in use is 100% better than being read numbers and specs. Like the relaxed feel of it. I'd say 'more please Joshua!'
The example and and explanation with Malik was brilliant.
Really love this laid back style, it's fun to watch.

@@CineDailies wow great! Between I follow your channel alot. I used to be a Fujifilm xt3 shooter till my camera got damaged. Hoping to get a Fujifilm xh2s when I have the money. I guess the 7 Artisans is a great option for X mount cine lens. I personally know I won't be shooting a wide open aperture. 2.0 or 2.8 is enough for me. Love from Nigeria, Africa
love this style so much, so laid back. and as a viewer, I don't feel like you're shoving a product down my throat but still pretty convincing with all the details u share with us.
Great music. I know it is shallow and shouldn't matter, but the short and fat lens looks great on the camera. I do love wide lenses. At first they are not so easy to work with but then you start to learn how to compose with them and a video crop makes it so much easier. The up close but wide look is wonderful. The relaxed mood of your video is also fun.
Best review I found on this lens. Liking the chilled vibes.
Love this style of review, 100 real and practical insights into what one can achieve with it
the vision lenses are pretty stellar, I just wrapped up the set and the 25 and 35 also have the halo flare affect. nice set overall.
I watched this on Father’s Day, what a great coincidence! Good video, good content, good vibes! Thank you.
Just came across this video and totally fell in love with your type of cinematography! You earned a new subscriber!
I actually loveeee this chill format, as like its a flat lay, but your the subject, I love it haha!! Also that lens is actually so nice?!?
I might have to try these out sometime soon, I really like the look of the flares on this lens! Also love the relaxed feel of this video, chilling out talking about gear, that’s what it’s all about 🔥

This video made me go look at the lens online, and then realize i'd need a focus motor for my gimbal. Caught it on a huge sale, $14 instead of $130 at B&H - great deal for anyone who has a Crane 2. Thanks for making me think about this just now! Fantastic video, new subscriber!

Dope Lens Great Review as Always
I find it quite interesting to do that kind of relaxed revew hehe, I think it should be more common, by the way I had no idea about comic microphones, I think I'll buy some, they seem interesting and small, apparently they also sound very good, what I don't know It is the range of distance, I suppose that it is similar to the others, thanks for sharing your ideas

I would love a more in depth comparison with the SLR Microprime. I'm looking for a lense with a lot of character for my X-T5. The closer we can get to the cooke look, the better haha. I'm not into the modern sharp and digital look.
That looked like CHH Artist SO in your video....cool...I may pick this lens up..
How does the 7artisan lenses compare to the slr cine lenses? Which do u prefer?
Hello! I have a question, between the 7artisans and the dulens, which one would you choose for wedding videos? Thank you very much for your attention and response.
hi, I'm looking at a lens that I can use for video on my fujifilm xh2s device, is it possible for me to get the same efficiency as other brands' lenses? or should I just use fujinon lenses? but what I'm really saying is that I'm planning to work entirely on video shooting and I don't want to have a problem with autofocus or depth of field. Could some lenses be more inefficient in terms of clarity and depth of field than fujinon lenses? (especially in video shooting) for example, what are the disadvantages of lenses such as sigma, artisan viltrox or samyang compared to fujinon lenses?
Love this so much, thank you! Do you think it's possible to adapt this for the EF mount on a 6K Pro?

Do you also get every single defect that the lens has when doing the flare? Mine shows way too many little dots and its súper clean, its so weird and annoying

@@CineDailies Love the channel man, some of my fav shots I've seen out of the XH2S have been yours. Will be getting mine imminently switching systems from Sony thanks in part to your reviews and in-depth guides. Would love to see a comparison of this lens to the Viltrox 13mm as well, seems like they both fit the bill of super-wide with close focus. The shots of the kiddos look great and invoked Malik for sure!!

regarding cinema lens on the fuji xh2s, will the anamorphic lens from Sirui stay at a true focal reading of say 24mm? Or does it also have a crop to be equivalent of 35mm with a larger FOV for the anamorphic look? Cant find any info on it.
@CineDailies
Жыл бұрын
It's a yes and no, anamorphic focal length - depending on the squeeze factor (1.33, 1.5, etc) your FOV (field of view) will change but the compression with stay constant. For example a 50mm 2x anamorphic lens on full frame will have a FOV of 25mm but will retain a 50mm compression and character.
@thejobrien
Жыл бұрын
@@CineDailies gotcha okay. Was mainly wondering because they dont offer a 35mm for the fujis, so I was thinking maybe the 24mm would be like all other "normal" lens I use which would give me a the full frame equivalent of 35mm but it seems the 24mm anamorphic will give me the wide angle compression at 24mm and a FOV closer to ..18ish even wider. Gotcha. Shame they dont have a 35mm for a wider angle FOV.
what do you think about of the Rokinon 12mm t2.2 cine lens? I have used one on my xt4 for a few years and its an insane bang for buck little cine lens. would love to hear your opinion of it.
