Tell me about it 😆😆 but you're right looks so much better. Thank you for watching
I love your fabric choice and this dress now that you made the adjustment. I’m glad you were able to fix it. I made this dress also. I’m a beginner. Mine came out really nice also but I needed a lot of help. My sewing teacher helped me get it just right. I really love that you are very “real” with your projects. You’re not afraid to share your boo boos. That’s so realistic when sewing. Projects don’t always come out perfectly but we usually have an opportunity to fix them.

Thank you! 😊
That is exactly the adjustments that I had to make when I completed this dress! I have seen other variations of it and want to try those as well but it's one of my most complimented dresses. I love the pattern of the fabric!

That surely was the plan until I ran out of the 😆. That's okay, next version it's definitely something I wouldn't mind doing. Thank you for watching
You are so beautiful 😍 the colors in this dress with your necklace are popping!! Such a great combo on you, especially after you took the waist in. I LOVE this look, adding it to my makes list!

Love the dress. Made it a few years ago and added darts and elastic in back. Fit like a glove.

Karon Thank you so much 😊 and thanks so much 😘
Oh wow! SND, you just showed the interior of the 7969 and I'm loving it. While there are many videos about 7969, the details you showed and talked through are most helpful. I was wondering how to finished that waist seam on my in-progress 7969 and, voila!, your French seam there looks lovely. Thanks for taking the time to make this video.

Robyn Thank you! 😊
Well done for doing the unpicking and adjustments so quickly. (I know that I have clothes that have been waiting for years to be unpicked and re-done). Your dress looks lovely on you and I love the fabric!

Thanks so much😊 Truth be told I'm not a WIPS girl, even if I'm thinking I won't like something, I will finish it. Worst case scenario I'll donate after I complete it 😄
Oh my goodness, that print is GORGEOUS Nateida! Love that dress! I tried making that M7969, and I thought the same thing. It has a huge amount of ease. I didn't like the deep open neckline, though. But I LOVE how you put the cami under it. So cute. Yeah when you do that much french seams you really dont want to go back and do all that unpicking lol😂 I know that feeling. Great choice for fabric and pattern. Love the adjustments, looks so much better.

Vanessa I can TOTALLY see you in this. It's an easy sew 😊
I would take the skirt off, cross the front over more and reset the skirt. Then you might not need the under top. Glad you did the resew as it looks so much better. It was just so, so big before.

I did just as you described. The crossover wasn't too deep, but the ease was way too much. I went down 2 size, but don't think I can size down again and still be able to pull it on with no zip. It's a super easy breezy summer dress.
@marybethpazdernik9672

...went down ONE size...

Yep, that's what I did😊. For me, I always will wear a top of some sort underneath a cross over bodice. I'm so happy that I picked it apart.

Exactly, with this pattern definitely have to go down in size.😊
